We got these phone booths (a K6 from the 1930s, and a KX100 from the 1990s) for the @stripe lobby, as a reminder that there are always two paths in everything we make: something that elevates and makes you smile, or, well, whatever the thing on the right is.
I'm thrilled to announce the launch of our new Documentation home page at Apple, along with a new navigation that lets you switch between all the latest technologies introduced at #WWDC24
This has been a great team effort and I couldn't be prouder 🙌

Holy cow: major SwiftUI change! It looks like they punted the whole View protocol to MainActor. A much smarter default, but might hit you when you recompile – watch out! #WWDC24
Nobody roots for you when you start from zero.
It's those times when you're:
• alone
• clueless
• no leverage
• no roadmap
• unable to delegate
• facing uncertainty
• skipping workouts
• sleeping on the floor
• feeling overwhelmed
• using a broken laptop
• putting in the extra work
• dealing with endless doubts
• unable to afford subscriptions/tools
That's when you have to pat your own back.
That's when you have to be your biggest cheerleader.
That's when you have to believe in the idea that one day it's all gonna be worth it and you're gonna make it.
You're gonna prove everyone wrong who said it wouldn't work.
If you're going through hard times, trust me it's not gonna be like this forever.
It's just a season, and it will pass.
You're gonna come out of this not only with more money but also with:
• More self-discipline
• More resilience
• More patience
• More humility
• More courage
• More skills
The beginning is always the hardest.
Keep pushing forward no matter what.
You deserve the life you promised yourself.
I've designed more landing pages in the past 2 months than I have in the last 4 years combined.
8 key lessons for a high-converting landing page:
1/ Copy is King
• Your landing page copy is a digital salesperson.
• Use storytelling and crisp copy to strike an emotional chord and communicate your unique value.
2/ Main Lockup
• Make what your site offers crystal clear the moment visitors land.
• Use a strong headline, subheading, CTA, form, and product demo to address their needs immediately.
3/ Grand Slam Offer
• Present an irresistible offer.
• People hesitate to share emails, so lower the barrier with free content or discounts.
• Make it too good to refuse.
4/ Features/Benefits
• Highlight only key features.
• Use product walkthroughs or videos.
• Show and tell – it's more effective.
5/ Pricing
• It's usually the first question on visitors' minds.
• Always include it, and make it easily accessible in the navigation.
6/ Social Proof
• Your customers are your best copywriters.
• Include testimonials, highlight key features, and show customers who resemble your audience.
• It builds trust and relatability.
7/ How it Works
• Break down your product's functionality into 3-5 easy steps.
• Highlight how easy it is to get started with your product or service.
8/ Information Overload
• Humans have an 8-second attention span, less than a goldfish.
• Keep your content short and engaging.
• No one wants to read long paragraphs.
Woke up at 9:30 am today—way past my usual 4-5:30 am.
Felt miserable.
Guilty for not sleeping early.
Stressed about missing productive morning hours.
Yet, despite the emotions:
- finished all the tasks on my to-do list
- hit the gym at 2 pm
- walked 10k steps
It's possible to feel unproductive without actually being unproductive.
Learn to act regardless of how you feel.
There's nothing wrong with you.
You can be sad, miserable, angry, guilty, or anxious.
And that's okay!
You're human.
But keep the momentum.
You can stay productive despite negative emotions.
It's about choosing your pain.
At the end of the day, you have to make a choice.
Which pain do you want?
The pain of staying where you are, or the pain of growth.
