3 day workshop on ‘Introduction to Health data science using R’ from 15 to 17 Jun, 2024 successfully completed with 20 participants and facilitators from @iphindia and @sctimst_tvm -  @bijusoman @drarunmitra @yogishcb immersing an entire weekend and more in #R, #Rstudio #Quarto, exposure to multiple open access materials and working hands-on with data, @datavisualization, creating publication ready outputs like tables and images. The workshop consisted of short presentations, lots of time to practice, homework assignments, witty humor and aha moments. It was a particularly enthusiastic cohort with diversity in all ways - disciplinary backgrounds, age and work experience, sectors and states across India - and large datasets were an instant bonding glue from getgo!The participants left with a promise to the facilitators to spread the word of R in their respective networks! Thank you  @AgavaneVaibhav and @dr_hebbar for inaugarating the workshop and felicitating the participants, and to the coordination and support team - @vkranthikumari , @drChilgod , Harish, Yogin). Special thanks to Vinay Venu of Samanvay for sharing his insights on the Avni app.
