17 years ago, a medal was placed around my neck, but it truly belonged to a nation 🇮🇳 . It was built on the love of my parents, the wisdom of my coaches, and the belief of countless people who stood beside me.
My hope has always been that the gold shone far beyond that podium, lighting the way for every Indian athlete who dares to dream.

What does it mean to truly support a young leader? For @Abhinav_Bindra, Olympic gold medallist and one of India’s most celebrated sporting figures, it wasn’t just material resources or encouragement that shaped his path; it was the freedom to make mistakes.

With the incredible support of teachers, school leaders, parents, and communities, over 50,000 students have already participated— and the movement keeps growing! More schools are joining in, creating lasting spaces for sport, learning, and Olympism.

The Government of Odisha, the International Olympic Committee along with my foundation - ABFT are unfolding the dreams of millions of schoolchildren, who celebrate Olympism, teamwork, and physical activity—building a healthier, stronger tomorrow.

At ABFT, we remain committed to ensuring every child experiences the transformative power of sport and Olympic values.

Proud to celebrate the incredible milestone of reaching over 12 million children in India with the Olympic Values Education Program (OVEP)! This journey, bringing the Olympic values of excellence, respect, and friendship to young minds, continues to inspire me.

In Assam and Odisha, OVEP is transforming lives, offering children the skills and mindset to pursue their potential. The recent visit of Assam’s students to Lausanne was especially inspiring, showcasing the positive impact of sports education on our youth.

A heartfelt thank you to the
leadership in both states for their commitment to nurturing our youth and fostering a culture of resilience and unity through sport. @himantabiswa @CMO_Odisha @SMEOdisha @Assam_DSYW @SchoolEdnAssam @sports_odisha
