@SeemaCMS Two simple ideas to prevent price gouging and contain the cost of this epidemic: 1. Set a national price for any Covid-19 lab test 2. Limit the cost of treatment for commercial payers to be the same as Medicare rates (Medicare PRICING for all)
@johnarnold Not a surprise considering that we have the worst of all systems with neither implicit nor explicit price controls, either a free market or regulation. It's worse, we regulate the wrong side (demand) of the market, payers rather than providers. Love to be a provider in the US!

@chrissyfarr Well it isn't 'rocket science.' Providers of healthcare services raise prices, employers complain and then pay. A market only functions if you can say NO as easily as YES. Why would you expect anything other than what we have?

Obvious, but worth making explicit: next to many CEOs is their spouse/partner, playing an unpaid board member, HR head, strategy consultant, or exec coach, responsible for 50%+ of success, receiving very little recognition. In my case, it’s much more than 50 — thanks to @nlevchin
@SenWarren@SenSanders Simple fix to Equifax and credit reporting issues. Make the creditor responsible for verifying and rectifying misuse rather than the consumer
