Among the five Pancha Bhoota Sthalams, Jambukeswarar Temple represents Neer (Water), symbolizing the life-giving and purifying power of nature.
The temple is dedicated to Jambukeshwarar and Akilandeswari.
According to tradition, Shiva manifested as a Lingam beneath the sacred Jambu tree, giving the shrine its name, Jambukeswaram.
Even today, water is said to continuously seep into the sanctum, reminding devotees of Shiva's eternal presence as the Water Element.

The previous week, I attended the 32nd International Symposium on the Chemistry of Natural Products and the 12th International Congress on Biodiversity (ISCNP/ICOB) conducted by the @IUPAC and @RACInational at UNSW, Sydney, Australia.
I presented my poster to scientists and research scholars around the world, and enjoyed the many amazing plenary talks, oral presentations and posters at the symposium. 📊🧪

Indeed, providing a 60% fellowship hike for Indian researchers would be a significant and positive development for the whole country.Such an increase in funding by DST would provide researchers with better financial support, which can have several important benefits for the entire scientific community and the country's development @IndiaDST@srivaric@guptaakhilesh63
