@boioo_boi@GirishArya_bms@gsnobo1977@UFBUIndia@OfficialBOMOO If government is not implementing 5 days banking and other issues even after strike, so there is nothing wrong in this. If bjp was in opposition, some unions leaders might have reached to them also. This is how democracy works.
NOBO will never understand this.
@JainamParekh5 For illiterate people, every bank has it's customer service point network where you can withdraw, deposit or transfer amount by using AADHAR.
For literate people, banks offer its almost all services on its app or net banking. Other channels are also available like atm and upi
@Kalinga_Odisha If government announces to work on Saturday for all government offices then bankers will also work on all Saturdays. Nation building institute doesn't work on Saturdays then why bankers should work. Why such discrimination only with bankers.
@NalinisKitchen You should raise this issue with government. Even after government has agreed to implement 5 days banking, not implementing from last 3 4 years. Also for your information bankers are agreed to work extra every day. Stop defaming bankers.
PLI for Scale IV & above has already been credited. We are not demanding that their PLI should be withheld or taken back
Our legitimate demand is:
PLI should be credited to ALL employees without discrimination & 5Days banking
No division. No discrimination.

The United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU), which claims to represent more than 90% of the banking workforce, has announced a series of strikes over unresolved issues related to the five-day banking week and the government's revised Performance Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme.
https://t.co/VWH6B584O5
United Forum of Bank Unions (UFBU) calls for bank strikes on September 11, followed by a three-day strike from September 28 to 30, and an indefinite strike beginning October 26, 2026.
The bank strikes have been called for the implementation of the five-day banking week, as agreed in the Settlement/Joint Note signed on March 8, 2024, the withdrawal of the government's Performance Linked Incentive (PLI) scheme, the modification of the incentive scheme through bilateral talks, and the resolution of pending residual issues
365 days vs 15 days.
These are not merely numbers on a policy document. They represent a very real difference in how employees may be valued and rewarded.
If banking is a team effort, then the incentive system must strengthen that team—not create a divide within it.
We believe senior officers deserve recognition for performance. But the contribution of every employee—from the person managing the counter to the person ensuring the branch functions smoothly—must also be recognised fairly.
That is why we stand for:
✔ Equitable PLI
✔ 5-Day Banking
✔ Dignity for every employee
✔ A stronger and more motivated banking workforce

DFS implement your written commitment on 5 dayweek banking and remove 20 pc exclusion clause from senior executives PLI and implement amended PLI scheme to all employees of PSB .
Quick approval of the 5-day week will create a more satisfied and engaged workforce willing to contribute even more to the banks.
Bankers also needs "Work Life Balance". Honour the joint note signed on 8th March 24.

An agreement must be honoured. A reward system must be fair.
#5DayWeekandFairPLI
The 5 Day Work Week for bank employees was agreed in the Bipartite Settlement of March 2024. Its implementation cannot remain pending indefinitely.
At the same time, a unilateral and discriminatory PLI framework that divides the workforce must give way to a fair, transparent and inclusive system for all employees.
Every achievement of our banks is the outcome of collective effort.
Recognition too must reflect that collective contribution.
We seek no privilege, only implementation of an agreed commitment, equality in reward and dignity at work.
@PMOIndia
India’s Bank employees seek two things rooted in fairness and dignity at work.
#5DayWeekandFairPLI
The demand for a 5 Day Work Week in banks is not new. It already stands agreed upon in the Bipartite Settlement of March 2024. What remains is its long-pending implementation.
At the same time, the unilateral and discriminatory PLI system must be abolished and replaced with a fair, transparent and inclusive framework for all employees, recognising the collective effort behind every institution’s performance.
Hardworking bank employees are not asking for privilege. They are asking for implementation of an agreement and equality in reward.
A motivated banking workforce strengthens Indian banking and the nation.
