@HelenAshby72 I can not begin to tell you how long the effects of abuse last for - in my case, it's been over 55 years! A lot of that was caused by the fact it wasn't talked about, and the abusers were able to hide in plain sight. Shout out about it and prevent it from happening again! PLEASE!
