This is the basics of my day trading strategy wrapped up into a single slide 📸
I’ve been using this system for the better part of a decade now and still haven’t found anything that comes close.
And I’ve been teaching it all on here absolutely free for over 5+ years!
$SPY 💚
Remembering Rakesh Jhunjhunwala on his death anniversary.
Advice for the young generation:
“Don’t forget in life, all big things start small.” 🔥
“Do something you love and do it with passion. I succeeded in markets because I love them and I had a passion for them.”
“My Father always told me, Aspire but never envy. Never give up the ambition to become richer and bigger than anybody, but never envy them.”
The longer I trade, the more I realize what being a successful trader actually means.
1. Having a strategy you actually trust.
2. Being able to walk away from the screen without checking the market every five minutes.
3. Sleeping peacefully after a losing trade.
4. Having enough discipline to sit out a bad market.
5. Making money without constantly increasing your risk.
6. Taking a vacation without worrying about what the market is doing.
7. Having no fear of missing the next trade.
8. Knowing exactly what kind of market you trade best.
9. Having a losing streak without losing your confidence.
This is a very helpful tip for determining your daily bias when day trading👇
1️⃣ Break & retest PDH = Bullish ⬆️
2️⃣ Reject at the PDH = Bearish ⬇️
3️⃣ Bounce at the PDL = Bullish ⬆️
4️⃣ Break & retest PDL = Bearish ⬇️
Watch these 2 zones closely 👀
You’ll start to notice the best move of the day doesn’t happen until you see 1 of these 4 scenarios trigger ✅

Most people are misunderstanding the #CAS (Closing Auction Session) mechanism.
If you understand how it works, it gives you a better framework to interpret the last few minutes of trading.
Here is a 🧵 of my understanding.
Good to see business channel anchors talking about the problems in CAS from derivatives perspective and not just looking at the final close price.
Credit where it's due, thank you Anuj ji @_anujsinghal 🫡🫡
Devil is in the details. Closing Auction Session #CAS implementation is a great testimony to the same. CAS supposedly aligns us with mature markets like the US mkts. The objective is sound, but the rollout has left the mkt participants perplexed
Some key differences b/w US and @NSEIndia model that are likely cause
India halts continuous trading before the closing auction. In the US, the closing auction is integrated into the regular trading session as there is no separate auction window after continuous trading ends.
US exchanges publish real time indicative closing price, matched quantity, and order imbalance. I haven't seen comparable transparency on NSE.
Liquidity or the lack of it is the biggest one. US closing auctions are backed by deep institutional participation built over decades. In India, the ecosystem creation is left to hope and time, resulting in the chaos witnessed.
A few questions:
Why not run CAS in shadow mode alongside the existing VWAP settlement for a few weeks and publish both values?
Why not provide richer auction analytics such as indicative price, matched volume, and order imbalance to help participants understand the closing price formation?
It's easy to criticize in hindsight. But when traders lose opportunities and face operational chaos, frustration is inevitable.
I hope NSE continues to refine the framework while pursuing global best practices. Adopting global standards is good, but that should be done keeping Indian market realities in mind.
1.Reduction of 0DTEs
2.Utterly stupid ELM
3.Choking of prop trading
4.Increasing STT, which itself is a redundant tax
Now this horrendous CAS.
SEBI seems to have lost it.
#rollbackCAS
Hey @NSEIndia
Seriously you guys wanna play with Data directly?? This is not how Auction works... This is pure KHILWAD, who's idea behind this actually??
SEBI need to stop worry about retailers, because in name of retail traders you guys making some unwanted rules which making more tough. So Stop 🛑 it
Expecting some changes in Capital Gains on Equity 😀😀
Our proposal:
- STCG at 15%
- LTCG at 10% (1-2 years)
- LTCG at ZERO (above 2 years)
- Include Capital Gains up to 12 Lakh in Rebate 87A (so that retired people who depend on capital gains benefit)
We need more people to amplify and show that we need these reforms 🔥 @nsitharaman ji
On behalf of honest tax payers,
#FI
what a mess u guys have made.
this is not the 1st time, u did it repeatedly.
U r no saviour for retailers, u r actually acting against retailers.
Today's opening indicates #CAS is a failure.
Be ready to pay heavily in upcoming days.

From 3rd August 2026, Nifty 50 and all F&O-eligible stocks have moved to a new Closing Auction Session (CAS).
Many traders are confused. Here's a simple explanation of what changed, why it matters, and whether it can be manipulated. 👇
