Cardinal Cupich has again praised Pope Francis’ Latin Mass restrictions, calling for 1 rite only in the Church:
“Again, as in keeping with his predecessor St. Pope Pius V, there must be only one rite as a means of preserving the unity of the church.”

The Spirit of Francis
Dear Friends: In this week's Underground, I cover the Abomination of Desolation in St. Peter’s Basilica and the extent to which the Spirit of Francis is still haunting the Vatican like the ghost of Rebecca haunted Manderley: https://t.co/gpLA4h4xAX...
If Pope Leo is to be Francis 2.0, the world will recognize that soon enough. Let them also recognize that the Traditionalists did not start the war.
If the Vatican wants to lock us down again and ban our Mass, so be it. The court of public opinion will see that happening (as it did under Francis), and attracting recruits will be that much easier (as it was under Francis). There’s a difference between cautioning silence in the face of evil and cautioning strategic patience and taking time for reconnaissance. We’ve got to fight smart now.
An example: When the Alphabet Soup abomination of desolation dropped in St. Peter’s Basilica, my daughter Katie was staked out at the Holy Doors of St. Peter’s. She joined the LGBTQ “pilgrimage” group and walked right into the Basilica with them. She took pictures, and she interviewed them. Her photos went viral (see below) and also watch here video report here: https://t.co/xpuHYxaXs5...
Fox News Channel contacted our office for permission to use the Remnant photos in their story exposing sacrilege in St. Peter’s. And by the end of the afternoon, that Fox News story complete with quotes from yours truly made it all the way to the Vatican press office.
The next day, the news broke that Pope Leo had given Cardinal Raymond Burke permission to bring the Traditional Latin Mass back into the Basilica of St. Peter for the Summorum Pontificum Pilgrimage in October, after it had been banned by Pope Francis in 2019. The takeaway? This is far from over.

The war is on, friends. Never lose hope. God wins in the end.

Cardinal Raymond Burke will celebrate a Pontifical Mass in the traditional Roman rite in St. Peter's Basilica during the upcoming October 24-26 Summorum Pontificum Pilgrimage in Rome.
The Mass will take place at the Altar of the Chair of St. Peter on Saturday, October 25, @messainlatino has reported.
This is a significant development as for three years the pilgrimage Mass in St. Peter's was denied.
The last Holy Mass (solemn, but not pontifical) for the pilgrims was celebrated in the basilica in 2022, and in 2023 only Sext was allowed to be recited there. Last year Eucharistic adoration was available for the pilgrims in St. Peter‘s.
The pilgrimage organisers are expected to announce more details tomorrow. https://t.co/Acl4lDL55I
I'll see you guys in Rome. God bless Cardinal Burke!
From my friend, Father João Silveira -- who will speak at the Catholic Identity Conference:
Vatican: Cardinal Raymond Burke will celebrate the Holy Mass in the Traditional Roman Rite, on the altar of the Chair, at 3:00 p.m. on October 25. This Mass is part of the Summorum Pontificum Pilgrimage, which will take place in Rome from October 24-26, 2025.
It will be the first pontifical Mass celebrated at the Basilica of Saint Peter since the 2019 Pilgrimage.
