My new piano is an Estonia Model L168 from @ClassicPianos and a massive upgrade over my digital. It took me a few weeks to learn how to tune it with a Grand CyberHammer & @depth42's amazing @pianoscope_app + months of planning for this amateur recording! https://t.co/PFtl7JYmmw
@anerdguynow Wow, so good. Thanks for sharing. Reminds me of when Phillip Phillips broke a string partway through his audition but still nailed it. https://t.co/Ukg5u6mH8z
This is the culmination of a project built atop the @Kawai_Global Novus NV10, @modartt's #Pianoteq 8 Steingraeber E-272, multiple @Raspberry_Pi's, onlaj's Piano LED Visualizer, and @simonkosua's MIDI Visualizer. All this tech in service of old J.S. Bach. https://t.co/ej0mLOHzsu
I'm pleased to share my entry in the @modartt video contest. This film is based on the new #Pianoteq 8, the @Kawai_Global Novus NV10, and a @Raspberry_Pi for good measure. New to the mix is the amazing free MIDI Visualizer by @simonkosua. Thank you! https://t.co/rM9BkiDyKg
@anerdguynow Yeah seriously. What's the incentive to put out content for a measly like from Mom? The only way to get exposure seems to be to game the algorithm one way or another... basically selling out. A social network that finds an audience for you sounds compelling.
@MrJonKeller@modartt@Kawai_Global@Raspberry_Pi Oh yeah. Overclocking is optional, but the Raspberry Pi Foundation have strongly hinted that overclocking the 400 is safe and it's very easy to do. The heat spreader is quite amazing -- the temperature never went past the 30s Celsius in my case.
A piece performed first using the @Kawai_Global#Novus SK-EX engine then using @modartt#Pianoteq 7 running on a @raspberry_pi 400. The Pi is invisible, silent, working perfectly for a real-time performance. Switching is via Novus touch panel. Magical. https://t.co/3toUiEqs3m
@MrJonKeller@modartt@Kawai_Global@Raspberry_Pi I'm using an external USB interface with the Pi 400 overclocked to 2.1GHz. The minimum it supports is 64 samples. I use that @ 44.1 KHz for daily use. For 48 KHz, which is what I recorded with, I used 128 samples.
Alfred piano lessons are included in several #Kawai digital/hybrid pianos. My #Novus makes a cameo in this video (https://t.co/krXZEvOiiF) and plays an Alfred lesson rather nicely, for a music article (https://t.co/wiQ9MRKpOo). Thank you @Kawai_Global!
Set out on a simple quest to find a modern metronome, found the amazingly versatile #KORG#volca sample sequencer instead. The volca opens up new doors for musical creativity, and yes, brilliantly handles metronome tasks. Thanks @KorgUSA @KorgUK@korg_inc! https://t.co/wiQ9MRKpOo
Here's a beautiful piece by Sarah McLachlan that I recorded on my Kawai Novus NV10 during the lockdown. As a beginner, I highly appreciate everything this piano has to offer, especially now. https://t.co/jfUoK8DrHI #Kawai#Novus#NV10@Kawai_Global@Kawai_Japan @KawaiPianos
As Apple and others struggle to understand and define the future of keyboards, I took a small step into the evolving world of hacker keyboards. I learned a lot once I discarded the keyboards I had used for 2+ decades. https://t.co/9q37i64cRa @gruber@stevesi@marcoarment@mjtsai
