If you tie people’s performance evaluations solely to whether they hit their OKRs, don’t be surprised afterwards when they always hit their OKRs but their products still aren’t actually winning in the market.

Filled with a sense of awe: the sounds of the universe 🖤✨

Ever wondered what a black hole *sounds* like? Prepare to have your mind blown.

This new sonification — that is, the translation of astronomical data into sound — was released for NASA's Black Hole Week this year.

5 ways to get noticed and grow influence as a PM:

1. Bring the user voice into conversations
2. Write great documents
3. Be metric driven but data informed
4. Inform and align stakeholders
5. Grow people around you
6. Publish biweekly team achievements to the organisation

[Maria Dalavika @PrincessLiChery]

@alvertisjo Καλή αρχή!! 🚀

[Maria Dalavika @PrincessLiChery]

@MTsireud Thanks for sharing your thoughts :)
It’s a product leadership responsibility to give space to IC PMs to influence the product strategy -even if they don’t set it- before execution.
Then it’s the fast execution that will deliver value & measure the success of the strategic plan.

[Maria Dalavika @PrincessLiChery]

[Maria Dalavika @PrincessLiChery]

@tobiasrogers Why “need to”? Isn’t it enough to understand the problem and be motivated to solve it? Imho one should be objective, free from biases and balanced in order to solve problems. Falling in love is exactly the opposite 😅

Today nothing makes sense.. on one hand we struggle for revenue uplifts and on the other hand the people in Ukraine are fighting for their lives!!! All these in the same geographic area in 2022! How do we measure the success of our civilisation here?
