One year ago today, prominent journalist and Al Jazeera correspondent Anas al-Sharif was killed by an Israeli airstrike on a media tent in Gaza City.
He was 28 years old and had been receiving threats for reporting on Israel’s war crimes prior to his assassination.
This instantly reminds me of a mother in Gaza who had to take 580 Heparin injections & went through hell to conceive a child via IVF, only for Israel to murder her son
She clutched to his lifeless body while shaking in terror & kept saying "forgive me son"
Anyone who had IVF would understand the huge pain involved in the process. Israel bombed Gaza's fertility clinics, burning thousands of embryos.
The Celtics are banking on Payton Pritchard making a Jalen Brunson-type leap, per @tomhaberstroh
“The Celtics trading [Jaylen] Brown is a bet that [Payton] Pritchard is their in-house version of New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson, a diminutive player who didn’t fully show his talents until Luka Dončić was out of the picture.”

Dan Goldman lost his race, so now he's on CNN inventing slurs and tropes I never uttered. I challenged you before, @danielsgoldman. Quote one thing I actually said. You won't, because you can't.
And I'm not surprised by @jaketapper laundering baseless accusations against me. He's auditioning for the Ellisons to join his mate Bari Weiss. I can understand.
Horrific: Video shows an Israeli settler deliberately blocking the path of a Palestinian ambulance on a road in southern Nablus in the West Bank while it was transporting a critically ill person.
Israeli drone chased and struck a man on a scooter with his 12 year old daughter, killing the father. The little girl ran, wounded, ran and was hunted by the drone and struck again. She has succumbed to her wounds.
it’s even worse than it sounds. this went on for two years, and ultimately they banned her from MSG for the crime of being trans in public (and potentially on broadcast television).
the craziest thing about this MSG situation is that nina richardson was exactly the sort of patron that MSG wants. she was a frequent attendee of games, regularly spent hundreds on 100 level seats and concessions, was friends with the workers there, and never broke a single rule.
Using facial recognition tech, the Knicks surveilled a trans woman, tracking her every move out of fear she'd show up on MSG's tv broadcast
And they can do it to any "enemy" of Jim Dolan, who's built his own deep state. From @NoahShachtman

made a $175 instacart order and the shopper left the reciept in the bag
found out it would cost $125 if shopped in person
40% markup what a great business model

@JerusalemDemsas@TheArgumentMag It's one thing to publish a poll, it's another to make the argument that trans people (or the people advocating them) primarily caused this backlash without mentioning the avalanche of money and media that's gone into this issue over the past several years
NYU Langone is refusing to provide gender-affirming care. This is unacceptable.
If hospitals follow Trump’s orders to erase the trans community, they should not receive a single dollar in city grants or contracts.
New York must stand with trans New Yorkers. Period.
Governor @GovKathyHochul hates working class people. She’s refusing to tax billionaires and millionaires and is ok with the burden falling on the working class. Wild stance to take when she’s up for reelection!
Shame on NYU Langone for choosing to end gender-affirming care and kick trans New Yorkers to the curb. It's a violation of their promise to treat all people equally, kindly, and respectfully — and a violation of NYC's human rights law as well. Bending the knee to a tyrant is bad; denying people the care they need is even worse.
