He is not perfect but he is the best PM that India has seen since independence.

Pros : Development. Roads have improved significantly. Flyovers, expressways, connectivity is much better than what we've seen till 2024.

Electrification : Even after 65+ years since independence, many areas in India didn't have electricity. This man changed that.

Corruption : Those who've seen rampant corruption till 2014 knows how much things have improved.

Internal security : Terror attacks on civilians has now become an extreme rarity. Till 2014 it used to be a monthly affair. Naxalism almost eliminated. NIA is arresting terror sympathisers on daily basis.

Medical : Again things are not the best but much much better than what we had earlier. Lots of new hospitals, more medical seats, medical insurance schemes for poor.

Welfare for poor : Free ration, subsidised homes, LPG schemes, etc.

గద్దర్.. ఇది పేరు కాదు ఒక బ్రాండ్. విప్లవ ప్రయాణానికి రథ సారథి ఆయన. పేదల పక్షాన జరిగే పోరాటాలకు వెన్నెముక. ఎన్నో ప్రభుత్వాలను ప్రజల పక్షాన అడిగిన ప్రశ్న.

పాట అంటే చెవులతో కాదు వినేది.. పాటంటే గుండెలతో విని మెదడులో ఆలోచనలు రేపేది అని పరమార్థాన్ని చెప్పేది.. పాటంటే మాటలతో తూటాలను ఎక్కుబెట్టి.. అన్యాయపు మర్మాన్ని రట్టు చేసేది అని అర్ధం అని చెప్పిన వారు గద్దర్.

ఎన్నో ప్రజా పోరాటాలను ముందుండి నడిపించి, అన్ని పక్షాల ప్రజలను కలుపుకుని సమ సమాజ నిర్మాణానికి అలుపెరగని పోరాటం చేసి, మృత్యువుతో పోరాడి ఓడినా.. ప్రజల నాలుకలపై పాటవై చిరంజీవిగా నిలిచిన గద్దర్ గారికి TSRTC యాజమాన్యం పక్షాన మరియు TSRTC ఉద్యోగుల పక్షాన నివాళులు అర్పిస్తున్నాం.

గద్దర్ గారితో నాకు సుమారు దశాబ్ద కాలంగా పరిచయం ఉంది. ప్రజా ఉద్యమంలో ముఖ్యంగా తెలంగాణ ఉద్యమంలో తన పాత్ర గురించి ఎన్నో సందర్భాలలో నాతో పాలు పంచుకున్నారు. ఉద్యమం అంటే ప్రభుత్వానికి వ్యతిరేకంగా జరిపే పోరాటం కాదని, ప్రజల హక్కులను కాపాడుకోవడం అని ఎన్నోసార్లు చెప్పేవారు.

ఒకానొక సందర్భంలో తను రాసిన పాట "మల్లె తీగకు పందిరి వోలె... మసక చీకటిలా వెన్నెలవోలె నీ పాదం మీద పుట్టు మచ్చనై చెల్లెమ్మా తొడ బుట్టిన రుణం తీర్చుకుంటనే చెల్లెమ్మా'' అనే పాటకు ప్రభుత్వం నంది అవార్డు ప్రకటించినా తను దానిని తిరస్కరించినట్లు చెప్పి పాట పై తనకున్న గౌరవాన్ని చాటి, పాటంటే వ్యాపారం కాదని, పాటంటే ప్రజల నాడి అని చెప్పారు.

గద్దర్ గారు ఎన్నో సందర్భాలలో నన్ను కలిసి ఆయన మీద నమోదైన కేసుల గురించి చర్చించేవారు. తను చెప్పవలసిన విషయాన్ని ఎంతో ధైర్యంగా, మృదువుగా చెప్పేవారు. ఎంత పెద్ద అధికారి అయినా రాజకీయ నాయకులనైనా, వయసులో తనకంటే చిన్న వారిని కూడా నోరార "అన్నా" అని పిలిచేవారు. ఆసువుగా పాట పాడటంలో గద్దర్ గారిని మించిన కవి, గాయకుడు లేరని చెప్పవచ్చు.

తెలంగాణ ఉద్యమాన్ని కలిసికట్టుగా నడిపిన నాయకులు ఎందరు ఉన్నా, తెలంగాణ సాధించిన ఘనత పాటల తల్లిదని చెప్పి సంతోషించే వారు. ఈ మధ్య కాలంలో గద్దర్ గారి ఆరోగ్యం క్షీణించిందని తెలిసింది. సమయాభావం వల్ల కలువలేక పోయాను. పాట నిలిచి ఉన్నంత కాలం గద్దర్ బ్రతికే ఉంటారు. ఉద్యమ కారులు ఎవ్వరు చనిపోయినా ఆయన అక్కడికి చేరుకొని తన పాటలతో నివాళులు అర్పించేవారు. ఈ రోజు ఆయనకు నివాళులు అర్పించడం అనేది బాధాకరం.

గద్దర్ గారి కుటుంబ సభ్యులకు మరియు ఆయన అభిమానులకు నా ప్రగాఢ సానుభూతి తెలుపుతున్నాను.
