After the cancellation of exams and the ensuing A Level results fiasco, the Government promised “never again”.
However, one year later, young people are being put in yet another impossible position by the education system.

@MathsNot Why? Some of us need it. I'm a private candidate, many of us have struggled to get centres to assess us or assess us fairly. This whole set up has been extremely difficult, autumn exams feel like a safety net because I sure as hell dont want to wait for summer 2022 for exams.
I'm a Alevel student who was told we won't have exams. We are now sitting exams in two weeks in April 2 months before they should be sat. And are told that "final assesments have more weighing on final grade". Please students let's get together #alevels2021#gavinwilliams#Exams
Disgrace there was no consistent & fair approach to grading for ‘20 cohorts, who had actually completed most of their courses & had data to prove the consistent level they were working at & their grasp of their subjects. How have 1/3 been ignored, disadvantaged & left downgraded?
@jessphillips@GavinWilliamson has yet to acknowledge & remedy #exams2020 fiasco. Failing to uncover the 2 tier system for calculating CAGs in 2020 always had ramifications for #exams2021. Politicians have failed exam students a 2nd time. See @emandem1973 feed to uncover the truth. @CommonsEd
