@_aditya_lahiri They won't even require your card to charge the tip. They just do it at the end of day/week. The number on your statement will be (bill+tip). There can be mistakes with the tip so you can challenge each transaction. Things like Zelle which have authentication are instant right.

@_aditya_lahiri I think it's intentional. Since Card payments don't have a require a pin, one can raise a complaint and reverse the transaction. Plus, even after paying by card, if you decide to tip, you can write it an additional tip on their copy of the receipt and they will charge it later.
