@EconomicTimes It's shocking that no one is addressing the plight Gofirst employees. Despite countless emails and letters to Media Houses, Ministers we receive no responses or support. We've been left in the dark for a year, told only to standby with no comms. Is this the treatment we deserve?
Some 34 trainee pilots at Go First find themselves in a peculiarly difficult situation after they paid Rs 50l- 80l for training to the airline. https://t.co/TU3rDQcp3g
@shukla_tarun@centralbank_in@GoFirstairways I really hope if they don’t restart, that they return the money paid to GoFirst by Trainee First Officers as their training wasn’t completed. Trainee First Officers paid the company by mortgaging their home or other collateral please help them.
@HiteshP41338837@ArenaJet@CNBCTV18News@AkasaAir They want only experienced pilots. They won’t hire pilots who have been struggling to get a job or TFO’s who are no where after paying huge sums for employment to Go First. If given a chance to people in distress they will always be the most loyal asset a company can have.
@shukla_tarun@AkasaAir@DGCAIndia There are lot of Pilots Jobless. Specially the TFO’s from Go First who are looking at an uncertain future as they are not being considered anywhere. They have taken huge loans to pay the company as Training Fees the training which was not completed.
@ArenaJet@AkasaAir why don’t you hire the Trainee Pilots from Go First who are really trying everything possible after paying huge amount for training at Go First. They will always be with the company that will help them at this current situation giving a helping hand in distress. 🙏🏻
When the pilots are crying that @AkasaAir is suing pilots for leaving the company. Nobody said anything when @GoFirstairways took 50 Lakhs from young pilots & GoFirst stopped operations. Now who is going to support those GoFirst pilots? Ironic right.

Gentlemen,
There are a quite a few type rated pilots for the position of Jr First Officers who are victim of the total shut down of aviation due to the #Covid pandemic: Their training was interrupted/delayed for 3 yrs because of the shutdown:These 3 yrs lost is costing them dearly as that had ended up making them overage for recruitment as per entry age limits set by your HR departments: This is a petition on their behalf to provide them an opportunity for employment with a 3 yr concession : they still can provide over 25-30 yrs of active employment: Kindly consider their plight keeping in mind taviation growth and the future need for pilots by every airlines
Thank you

@avgeek320 Rather Airindia has reduced the age limit from 45yrs to 30yrs.
Other countries going ahead and our nation going backward 🤦♂️
No wonder Indians are giving up their citizenship
There's a lacunae in business rules where employee Salaries and money taken for training is allowed to be used up so when airline goes down this money becomes unrecoverable. Airline should be shut before that stage, running it a few years with that money hasn't helped till now.
@CaptVilas 50 Lakhs from Type Rated pilots and 75lakhs from CPL holders.
I appreciate that you have raised this valid issue. A lot of them are under tremendous stress due to this.
Go first must not be allowed to disappear without being made to return the money collected from trainee pilots who were not given atleast 500hrs on line.
@airindiain Rehiring the pilots who are retired beyond 57yrs and these vacancies have a limit of 30yrs. Didn't expect this from a trusted company like Tata. This is really disappointing. @RNTata2000@TCS@tatatrusts
