@Noirjazzz@OtakuEspiritu The Dark Tower series is a different type of portal fantasy story mostly from the second book on but builds character intrigue around Roland basically kidnapping several people to fulfill his own destiny with explicit understanding that every one of them will never return home
@CTPhipps1980@superfeyn That's more of an Academic take but the franchise tends to conflate connection with the warp as the soul of a person so following that route Blanks actively repel warp power so should probably be considered to have anti souls rather than just not having one.
Discovering this game exists through this tweet and then discovering it was never released in English and has never been fan translated just ruined my day lmao
@lucahjin@StabbyGenki Y2K 100% actually happened, the reason no one noticed is the problem was caught early enough for most major systems to update their dating system to allow for the turn of a millennium but systems all over the world did break. it's funny how so many people think it was a hoax.
@ArthurMora19@RagerrrYT Depresso already has a player character costumes in palworld itself honestly they could go the kigurumi route for any non human proportioned pals
@boredoftourism@ConnorIsVillain@WetOilyButt Sliding timelines work when the media doesn't naturally age which is inevitable when shooting live action. It's why Vampire media always has a hard time making it past the first few seasons since even small signs of aging that happen to everyone break the illusion of not aging.
@BLACK_DAHLIA77@esjesjesj People can write on Papyrus and Vellum parchment, paper is just a wood based modern equivalent which is why I used it for understandability but they are all similarly weak to the elements. Also where did you get that translation, I'm referencing a theory common among Historians.
@BLACK_DAHLIA77@esjesjesj Homer was the scribe writing a copy of earlier oral traditions this is just the oldest partial surviving written form because paper doesn't survive environmental factors over such long time periods. Also "Homer" is debatably not an individual rather an archaic word for bard.
@UpaUp4UpaUp4@tenmamaemi Did everyone without looking at any guide and still had time at the end before having to do the finale, Metaphor is arguably the least time crunchy of any Atlus calender JRPGs
