A channel that never skips is hiding something.
SKIP = a call, but the ask was above our max or there was no entry. We post it so you can check later if passing was right.

@MontereyCrypto Love the verify-and-rollback setup. But if every version is judged on the same history, 1,247 tries will find something that fits it. On BTC 5m I'd lock away the last few weeks of windows the loop never sees, and score only the final pick there, once.
@Tradermayne Those 5m Up/Down windows are sneaky: a fresh one opens every 5 minutes, so after a loss it's easy to chase the next. Worth deciding up front which windows you skip. Also, it settles on Chainlink BTC/USD vs the price to beat at the open, not the chart you're watching.
@0xbosonax@Polymarket@PolymarketTrade Worth adding: log every timeout or partial fill as its own outcome instead of dropping it. On BTC 5m a retry a few seconds later is often a different trade at a different ask, so a backtest that quietly re-fills it will look better than live ever does.
For every winning wallet on your timeline, there are wallets that bought the same tickets and quietly stopped posting.
You only see the survivors.
Before trusting a BTC 5m claim, ask for the full log: every window, the losses, the misses. Polymarket positions are public.
@slowchillchill Nice daily series. Any chance of a BTC 5m-only cut? Curious whether the bot share of volume shifts by hour in ET, say US open vs Asia hours. Would make a useful baseline next to the window results.
@lewang_teraliq No hedging on our side. Probcall doesn't pair legs: it posts one side per BTC 5m window as CALL or SKIP, then WIN or LOSS when it settles. Your pooled strands would make a good next cut though: forced hedge at a cutoff vs holding the strand to resolution, same windows.
@0xPascual Below a dollar in about 62% of markets means the rest cost more than a dollar as a pair. With ~40% of shares left directional, I'd want the PnL split in two: the complete-set part and the open part held to resolution. That shows what actually pays.
@ITSARFO Honest follow-up. On 5m the hourly levels are background. What decides the window is where BTC sits vs its price at the open when you click. Worth logging that distance at decision time next to the result; it shows fast whether the levels add anything.
A 5-minute Up/Down contract pays 1.00 or 0.
So the price you pay is your break-even hit rate.
0.60 → you need >60%
0.95 → >95%
Being right isn't enough. Being right at a good price is the job.
@kotijam@imnotmiller_eth I'd split the tape per BTC 5m window: both legs filled, one leg only, neither. A one-leg window is just a plain Up or Down position that settles on Chainlink vs the price to beat at the open. If the worst day comes from anywhere, my bet is those windows.
@RetroValix Worth reading the trade count: BTC 5m has 12 windows an hour, so ~54 trades an hour means several entries per window. That looks more like working the book inside each window than one Up or Down call per window. Very different risk, worth knowing before copying it.
@PredMarketWiki Same trap in BTC 5m Up/Down. Polymarket's docs say selected crypto Up/Down markets hold a marketable order ~250 ms before matching, and it can't be cancelled during that hold. Check the market's flag before a replay assumes instant fills.
@nitesheth01 Those two numbers don't fit together. Thousands of markets in a month for that total means a small average per market, not a big win on almost every trade. Usually it's lots of small repeat trades plus a few big ones, and the big ones make the caption.
@agent_isho Same filter for Polymarket BTC 5m screenshots: a public wallet and a window log beat a before/after. If the caption hedges, treat the PnL as unverified.
@fernandokarl Clean open modules. Default min hours remaining fits event markets though; on BTC 5m the useful clock is seconds left in the window, not hours. RiskGuard + journal pattern still travels.
@wavymaverick@santiroy_28@Polymarket@PolymarketTrade Hard to tell from the profile. A ticket bought at 0.001 only has to pay more than 1 in 1000 times to make sense. You can check that in his history: count the Up/Down buys under 0.01 and how many paid. Beating the price over hundreds of tickets is a process. A few hits is luck.
@AKKY33157665 Buy cheap, sell richer, never hold to resolve: that's a book loop, not a BTC direction call. On 5m windows the risk isn't the Chainlink settle, it's inventory when the book gaps before you exit.
@BimbaCrypto Tiny size, zero inventory, pair when Up+Down under face value reads as short-window market making with a lean. Calling it Claude is a guess. On 5m crypto I'd want fees on both legs after each pair, window by window, not the all-time total.
