The focus should not be on Huw Edwards rebuilding a platform. It should be on the victims and preventing future abuse by closing the gaps in safeguarding. Mental illness matters, but it is not an excuse for criminality. Children first. Always.

I’m deeply grateful to Freddie van Mierlo for recognising my work and journey in Parliament. He also highlighted @DellasLaw after he learnt about it.

Safeguarding young people must remain at the heart of this conversation, because every child deserves to feel safe, heard and protected.

@Project9010 is so important because it helps shine a light on the reality of child sexual abuse, challenges silence, and supports the education and awareness needed to prevent harm. To have this work acknowledged on the national stage is humbling and a powerful reminder of why we must keep going.

❗️Three years ago, I founded Project 90-10, a charity focused on safeguarding children today and protecting their future.

My life experiences helped me recognise the gaps that exist, and my campaigning work has only deepened my concern for young people. Together, those experiences encouraged me to take action and create something that could truly make a difference.

Today, I stand alongside a trustee board built on strength, compassion, integrity, and a shared determination to do what is right for children.

Aligning with such incredible women has been inspiring, empowering, and deeply motivating. Together, we are strong. Our community around us is strong. We are emerging like butterflies, and we will not stop fighting for what is right.
