God's promises are so gracious, and they all find their fulfillment in Jesus the Messiah. The parallels between Zechariah and Jesus in this passage are striking.

Graduation from @MBTS was a unique joy. I am profoundly grateful for everyone who got me there. I dedicated my dissertation to my mom and dad and my wife and kids for their gracious love.

Q: Whom did the voice in Isaiah 40 introduce?
A: Yahweh.

Q: Whom did John the Baptist introduce?
A: Jesus.

Q: Whom does that make Jesus?
