I’m honored and excited to announce that by this August, our family will move to Salem, Oregon, where I will serve as Assistant Professor of Biblical Studies @CorbanU.
May Christ be magnified!
God's promises are so gracious, and they all find their fulfillment in Jesus the Messiah. The parallels between Zechariah and Jesus in this passage are striking.

Dream come true! I thank the Lord for Drs. DeRouchie and @pj_schreiner for teaching, correcting, and encouraging me @MBTS, in the Residency, and on this project. For the Son of Man and for the Church!
Congratulations to Spencer Stewart, who successfully passed his oral defense today for his PhD thesis, “The Representative Suffering of the Son of Man in Daniel 7: A Biblical-Theological Exegesis.” Spencer was a model student and a valued member of the Residency.
@TeofiloCorreaII Thank you, sir! The Son of Man is worthy! I will contact you as soon as I can with the official PDF. I will also get to work on a condensed version with hopes of publication.
I've finished this leg of the race with more awe of God and more eagerness to study and teach His Word than when I began. May God continue to be glorified in all of this. He is worthy!
Graduation from @MBTS was a unique joy. I am profoundly grateful for everyone who got me there. I dedicated my dissertation to my mom and dad and my wife and kids for their gracious love.
If anyone is interested in reading a dissertation on the suffering Son of Man from Daniel 7 to Genesis to Revelation, it's here: https://t.co/qI48lWwYMI. I'm all ears for ways to make it better. I'd appreciate prayers as I work to condense it for publication, if the Lord wills.
This was my favorite clip in a great interview. Made the heart of this biblical-theological exegete sing.
Thanks for keeping us focused on God's Word, Dr. @RonniKurtz.
Theology must begin, continue, and return to the text of Scripture.

All four Gospels quote Isaiah 40 to introduce Jesus.
Q: Whom did the voice in Isaiah 40 introduce?
A: Yahweh.
Q: Whom did John the Baptist introduce?
A: Jesus.
Q: Whom does that make Jesus?
A: Yahweh!
A chapel sermon for comfort to God's people:
@lukestamps And *will be.*
“And they will subdue with sling stones … the feeblest among them on that day will be like David” (Zech 9:15; 12:8).
To the praise of the glory of His grace.
@pj_schreiner And the way players with the ball are allowed to slam into space they have no right to without being called for a charge. And the way defenders hold Steph. multiple times. every. possession.
Watching the right teams, it’s still an entertaining product, though. Go Dubs.
