A moment of gratitude. A decade of impact.
We came together to mark 10 years of #AfricaSkillsHub, celebrating the journey shaped by youth, women, SMEs, partners, and communities across Africa.
It was also a defining moment as we unveiled our next chapter: ASH Africa.
A new identity rooted in a decade of impact and built for the broader vision that now guides our work across skills, enterprise, capital, and markets.
To every partner, collaborator, and community that has been part of this journey, thank you. Your belief in this work has made all the difference.
Here's to the road ahead.

Today, we turn a new page.
For the past decade, #AfricaSkillsHub has worked with youth, women, SMEs, institutions, and communities to build skills, strengthen enterprises, and create opportunities across Africa.
As our work, reach, and presence have grown, so too has our vision.
Today, we are proud to introduce our new identity:
ASH Africa.
Transforming lives. Impacting communities. Building Africa.
This is more than a change of name. It reflects both who we are today and the future we are building—a future where skills, capital, enterprise, and markets work together to drive inclusive economic growth across Africa.
Our identity has evolved, but our purpose remains clear: creating pathways for youth, women, and SMEs to grow, trade, and thrive.
The foundation has been laid. This next chapter expands the possibilities.
Welcome to ASH Africa.

Yesterday was an inspiring and productive day for the Africa Creatives, Sports and Recreation (ACSAR) Programme in Accra, Ghana! 🇬🇭
We kicked off at the launch of the 2026 Afro Gastro Festival and the National Under-25 Heritage Photo Competition, where @SymerreGrey, our Director of Human Capital and Institutional Development, served as Special Guest of Honour.
In his remarks, @SymerreGrey highlighted that Africa’s cultural and creative sectors are powerful engines for economic transformation, job creation, and enterprise development. Gastronomy is far more than food—it is a gateway to tourism, agriculture, and cultural diplomacy. Through ACSAR, we are reaffirming our commitment to transforming these sectors into strategic drivers of Employment, Entrepreneurship, and Empowerment.
The day continued with a strategic bilateral engagement between Hon. @Dzifa_Gomashie (MP), Minister for Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts of Ghana (@MOTACGhana) and Chairperson of the AU STC on Youth, Culture and Sports, and @SymerreGrey. We are particularly encouraged by Ghana’s willingness to explore hosting the 2026 African Festival of Arts, Culture and Creatives (AFESTACC) in Accra—a move that strengthens Ghana’s leadership in the creative economy.
We commend Hon. @Dzifa_Gomashie for her visionary leadership in positioning culture as a strategic asset for continental transformation. This journey, which began in 2025 under the guidance of our CEO H.E. @nardosbthomas, has led to Ghana becoming the 10th African country to domesticate the ACSAR Programme.
Together, we are unlocking opportunities for Africa’s youth and women through creativity, culture, and sports. The message from Accra is clear: Africa’s creative economy is a pathway to empowerment! 🌍✨

In Atorkor, in the Volta Region, three days felt different for women entrepreneurs.
It started with financial literacy and entrepreneurship management, but quickly turned into real conversations about everyday business life. Money coming in. Money going out. How earnings are taken without breaking the business. How small changes slowly shift how work gets done.
Between sessions, facilitators sat with participants one-on-one, talking through real business challenges as they came up.
By the final day, it showed. In the way they spoke about their businesses. Less uncertainty. Clearer decisions. A quiet confidence about what comes next.

Sometimes, all it takes is being in the right room. Learning something practical, asking questions freely, and hearing stories that make the future feel possible again.
For young people, women building businesses, and entrepreneurs finding their footing, experiences like this leave a lasting impact long after the training sessions end.
“Even though I already planned my budget each year, the programme helped me understand how to structure it better so I can avoid overspending and manage my finances more effectively.”
