At @GrowthWarriorVC we use our history as operators to help startup leaders transform from Founder → CEO.
At Warrior Summit on 10/31, influential investors + high-growth founders will build deep relationships and embrace the mindset of a billion $ CEO. https://t.co/9KfnomQmAi
@bchesky I was a founder, CEO and exec in Silicon Valley for 15+ yrs. As a woman the rules are different. Talking about it on X won’t change the realities. Happy to be backing founders of all stripes and giving them permission, capital and support.
I have a belief that being forced to raise money on your own as an emerging fund manager makes you a better investor.
Many VCs haven’t actually had to raise money before.
Creates more discipline and humility. Simple idea.

We help our founders transform from Founder to CEO every single day at GWC.
We want to see them lead their companies through the entire lifecycle, and be among the 1 in 4 who are CEO at the time of exit. It's a hard journey and the work starts early.
On 10/31, we're sharing the ingredients that go into a successful Founder-CEO transition, including:
*how to stop pitching + start building relationships
*architecting your c-suite + board (your co-pilots) for growth
*the inner work required to go all the way
See you in ATX.
@MandelaSH And the ho'oponopono prayer is the big gun to pull out when it matters and ONLY when you mean it. “I'm sorry; please forgive me; thank you, I love you.”
DON’T BE JUMPY
Got this message from a CEO about a candidate: “I don't think they'd be a good fit. We have a pretty hard rule on no jumpy folks and their background looks like a alot of 1.5 years and then gone”.
Current and future job seekers: don’t be jumpy. Accomplish something meaningful at each company before considering a new role. Making an impact (and ideally showing increased scope over time at the company) takes 3-5 years, not 1-2 years. Jumpiness at multiple companies is viewed negatively by recruiters and founders alike. It shows an inability to stick around and see things through.
