Both were as much about the workflow as the games: how far you can get letting an agent handle the boilerplate while you own the design and the hard bits. Happy to talk process if anyone's curious. #retrogaming#homebrew#agenticcoding
Lately I've been building historic board games for the original Game Boy, as an exercise in agentic coding: me directing, Claude Code doing a lot of the GBDK legwork. Two are now out, free / pay-what-you-want on

The Royal Game of Ur, one of the oldest board games we know of, with four AI opponents and link cable multiplayer. A good test of squeezing real game logic into DMG constraints. Play: https://t.co/aKt2Lfvbdj

Web design isn't my forte, but after a few hours spread over last week, I'm pretty happy with how my personal webpage update turned out! 🎉 Check it out: https://t.co/hXqRgLBpBJ
With some technical updates in place, I think it's good to go for a while again! What do you think?
Homepage up and running with #Node v22 and #GatsbyJS v5 (migrated from v2 yikes!). The groundwork is now done and so I can update https://t.co/pVCkeVfUoI soon 👍
📣 New publication! @jeroenraes and @ancientOmics from @VIB_microbes, together with colleagues from @UZLeuven, @KU_Leuven, and @JNJInnovMedBE challenge the state of the art in colon cancer biomarker discovery. Read more about it here ➡️ https://t.co/aoaWVFmLqI
@mayur7garg@fishnets88 This is a plotting option in SAS JMP that Python lacked (can't take credit for the idea). I do plan to add some more stats and other options to visualize these data incl. the uncertainty on the estimated proportions.
@fishnets88 I'm obviously biased about lorepy, but it nicely visualizes prevalence of groups along a continuous feature. Which is probably useful outside of our little niche.

Converted a few more of my gadgets to USB-C. Anyone else trying to get rid of proprietary and micro USB ports in their electrics?

@willmcgugan The major version number was increased, indicating correctly that backwards compatibility could be broken. I understand the frustration, but I can't see how the Flask devs are at fault here.
Finally was able to push some new content to my blog. Some details on the #ComfyUI workflows for @StabilityAI 's #SDXL I've been playing with recently https://t.co/mwEZpxa8PA
@cac0e For that blue check to be meaningful there should be some form of ID verification. To claim your knowledge panel in Google searches this is also required. Not a huge fan of sending pictures of IDs over the internet though. For X it would be a "No".
Here's a good explanation of everything wrong with peer review: https://t.co/AhuTzXoVjx
I stopped participating about 15 years ago, and I couldn't be happier with that decision.
💛🐧yesterday, palmerpenguins reached 1 million CRAN downloads! The adoption & love this little data package has received over the past 3 years has been truly overwhelming. Here are some of my favorite (and maybe lesser known) moments from palmerpenguins’ history. 🧵1/11
