This is a teaser from my talk on Visual Absurdity at the Webinale conference in Berlin, on Dec. 10. In a nutshell, Absurdism is there to question our beliefs and ideals and break the conformity we lock ourselves… https://t.co/KIbNQRyS79
Wrote and illustrated an article about buttons! Buttons face the danger of extinction from our smartphones and it's a pity because there's joy in them:

Care about web #typography? This short course by @jasonsantamaria is one of the best intros to the subject, from a qualitative point of view, without much theory: https://t.co/Z0gvtLUY5Z
It definitely increased my sensitivity to fonts and their visceral effect. #UX#UI#design
Reflecting again on post by @annequito, I believe #flatillustration, though and because it's ubiquitous, simple & often vanilla, it can transform domains untouched by contemporary aesthetics, such as academia, politics, law. Long way to go for #flatdesign https://t.co/CpLvvcmxqK
I'm still figuring out #twitter. When I #retweet, sometimes image appears, other times not. I wanted to delete a retweet I made of my tweets and I deleted my initial tweet when I commented on why flat illustration is so ubiquitous. To continue the conversation on #illustration..
Making of my banner at my website. I started from a collage and from sketching different botanicals which I later arranged like a puzzle so that it makes visual sense to me. The concept was “a visual garden”.🌻🌾@Procreate is awesome for raster illustrations, intuitive and fast.
#Inkscape is pretty rad for #scienceillustrations, but if you want an online, light and intuitive software for simple vector illustrations try #Figma. Mainly created for web design, it servers pretty well beginner illustrators and allows for collaboration: https://t.co/ZiRACp72ax
Came across a brilliant #visualisation of the concept of #MachineLearning. Might be not very easy to get through it if you don't know anything about ML, but it's worth trying. It gets very enjoying in the end when the little balls are being classified. https://t.co/RktDNu2MCl

How leafs are being shaped from a mass of cells to the beautiful complex forms we meet in nature? Study on carnivorous plants indicates the existence of 'a kind of inbuilt cellular compass which orients growth'. (ofc, I read the article for the picture :D)
While testing the 'Google Spaces' app, google noticed how fast people jumped to conclusion about the app, already from the first welcoming screen that they saw.
first impressions matter.

Thinking of the great collaboration I had with my friend @dimitrisbolis in creating the illustrations for his paper☺️. I still use them in my Workshops too😀
