@calvinfroedge Khamenei dying means whatever happens now there’s no turning around and doing kayfabe face savings desert bombings anymore… the last path to defuse this situation is gone, now it’s either Iran gets a persian-spring(it won’t) or we’re in for one wild ride
@BankerWeimar@SemperVigilant1 I remember the times when I’d go to my post office and pick up something heavy, and unwrap something shiny. Miss those days. Felt like Christmas every week 😥
@johnkonrad It’s not a matter of which cultures are superior or inferior, or which ones “assimilate” better or not. The simplest case is that multicultural/plurialistic societies end in bloodshed 100% of time, and that is not a future I want for my children. If you doubt this, read history
@johnkonrad I see no point or benefit in living in a multicultural society, my ancestors did not live in a multicultural society, and I do not wish my descendants to live in one either. A multicultural society is a fractured society with plenty of internal and inherent instability
Hormuz tanker traffic has collapsed.
• Pre-war average: 138 transits/day
• April: 4/day
• May: 2/day
• Week ending June 1: just 1.3/day
Markets keep pricing a return to normal.
Actual shipping data says normal is disappearing in the rearview mirror.

@DarkoJohnson2k@EnergyPeddler China is probably the best prepared for an oil crisis because of the extent of their domestic electric car market. On top of that they’ve got direct access to Sanctioned Russian Oil & a massive strategic reserve.
their bond yields are dropping while western yields are spiking
@DarkoJohnson2k@EnergyPeddler China could take Taiwan if they wanted because the US wasted a twenty year JASSM supply on Iran. Also why South Korea doesn’t have Patriot missiles anymore and why INDOPACOM is virtually toothless.
Definitely owning China with this one
@DarkoJohnson2k@EnergyPeddler Let’s be honest, this whole war is ultimately a war against regular Americans so that the Epstein class can force us into goychattle. If you support spending trillions on bombing some Middle eastern country while inflation is spiraling out of control, you’re not a patriot
@DarkoJohnson2k@EnergyPeddler Perhaps it wasn’t intentional, but the fact there was no war declaration, that it was a sneak attack on a school day was negligent, also lots of military infrastructure is dispersed across civilian infrastructure, true for all countries.
