Couple things here:
-Huss was far from pursuing ANY opportunity outside HPU.
Think about that

-It took a once in a lifetime opportunity at his Alma mater to do it

And I think he absolutely hated this last yr sitting second fiddle

I can add- many of the same emotions Huss wrestled with, I’m sure Flynn’s felt when many suitors came courting this off-season

- Was a part of High Point’s second straight Big South Tournament title and first-ever NCAA Tournament win over No. 5 seed Wisconsin, HPU’s first Power 4 upset.
- Redshirted 2025/26 Season.
- 4 year starter, and captain at Amador Valley High School.
- Totaled 1,705 points & 579 assists.

- The top point guard in the state of Tennessee and the 116th ranked player in the country.
- The highest rated player and first 247 Composite four-star recruit to sign with any Big South program out of high school.
- Averaged 17.9 ppg, 7.2 rpg & 5.2 apg at Pope John Paul II High School.
-Played for Brad Beal Elite in the Nike EYBL circuit and was the leader in assists averaging over 5.0 assists per game.

-Played in 26 games as a freshman helping lead HPU to Big South Regular Season and Tournament Championships, as well as HPU’s first ever NCAA Tournament win.

-Totaled 72 points, averaging 2.8 per game after going 32-43 from the field for 74.4%.
-Scored a season-high 14 versus Gardner-Webb (Jan. 7) after going 7-for-8 from the field for 87.5% shooting and added six rebounds and two blocks.
-Grabbed a season-high 11 rebounds versus Mary Baldwin (Dec. 16).
