So, I’m the co-founder and I’m interviewing you for an important role in my company.

The interview went well.
We both agreed to work together but…

You ask for 14 LPA.

And to save for my company, I’m gonna negotiate it down to 10 LPA. You know I want to save as much money as I can.

But I’m staggeringly WRONG.

I might save 4 lakh a year but at what cost?

Sooner or later you’re going to realise your worth. No matter how stringent the NDA we have in place, you will quit once you find a slightly better opportunity.

So, I’m back to square one.

I thought I was saving money but in the long term, I lost more than I saved.

- Extra efforts to sort new applications
- Sitting in an interview for hours
- Wasting my personal time
- Training you for months

This event teaches me a simple but very valuable lesson.
