Flight delayed three hours while on my way to being three hours early for my flight. Now they’re telling me the lounge closes at 10? @Delta@AmericanExpress I know you guys are too good to not make this right. I’ll see you in my DMs
“Sarky Sarkster. Gonna have ourselves a lil lawn party today. Had a million Tejas puh-can pies. Never a Buckeye pie. Reckon you have the recipe.
Now, dig - the enemy today is dressed like a million red lights. Nah nah. Know what rojo means to the toro? Verde, amigo. Vamos.”
@JebSPN@MatthewMKE98 I’ll take the guy with a proven MVP type year over a slightly above league average corner outfielder with a lesser power profile.
20 years ago, sure but this is baseball in 2025. Value matters and year long proof is more seeked out then a guy who has yet to come close to
@JebSPN@MatthewMKE98 Over the past two years, PCA has all around better slug, speed, base running, and less strikeouts. I don’t see how one can think Churios has been a better baseball player in any capacity
@JebSPN@MatthewMKE98 PCA has started 98% of cubs game this year. How are you quantifying that he is less consistent? These are splits by month. PCA has 1/5 on months below .750 OPS. Churio has 2/4
@JebSPN@MatthewMKE98 PCA has only played 12 more games and leads in almost every offensive static compared to Churios. I’m confused on why Churio’s pre injury streak differs from PCA “linsanity” run. Churios has had equally bad stretches
@JebSPN@MatthewMKE98 You understand that WAR is a positional irrelevant stat? It has positional adjustments baked in so that’s it meaningful when comping to other position players. Having PCA is simply 3x more valuable to a teams success then Chourio is in 2025
