I’m actually quite stunned at the transparency here. This is horrible news across the board, and I know i’ll probably get some flak for this, but given the usual public communications we receive, it’s refreshing to not only see the reasons why communicated, but also see Xbox actively ensure these devs can survive and retain their own IP rather than hoarding it to a vault. Especially given some recent news coming out of Sony’s end.

My condolences to anyone who will be affected by this, it’s a horrible time at the moment.
