@justind56710121@Heccles94 That wasn't a referendum on PR, and Reform also supported PR until they thought they could win without it. Lots of parties have supported it for decades.
@SPG_UKDK@the_aze@implausibleblog@ZackPolanski@TheGreenParty The thing you posted literally contradicts the statement that it's Green Party policy though? It's not policy and right wing rags constantly pushing the lie it is is obvious propaganda. Which is what the argument was about. https://t.co/qH4y5IFNzQ
@Pusboy2@implausibleblog@ZackPolanski That is what @TheGreenParty have said and it's also they're policy - always has been - hence she cleverly navigated around it by focusing on the percieved positives of immigration - this is a big issue for many Voter in the country and especially Makerfield
@blairibee@jakonian Yeah and the American senate is a shite system that any true democracy would have abandoned long ago. Unless for some reason you think North/South Dakota having twice the representation of California is democratic or in any way helpful.
@spinningjoe@SCFCJosh96 True but the whole map is pretty dumb anyway, arguably most places did a bit of both and even that doesn't account for who was oppressed/benefiting within those places.
@Femboweler Interesting because dogs having balls is normal and basing your whole identity around seeking them out to express your disapproval is really fucking weird. Maybe something to think about.
@cathleenc_ Funny with all of this talk about a progressive alliance, all the actual discourse has been about Greens standing down. Where are Labour standing down? Or the Lib Dems? Considering we regularly poll above Labour now maybe you should start talking about that first.
@lukey_stanger@cezthesocialist@cathleenc_@UKLabour This has not been the case for a while now. Why should the Greens ever stand aside, when in the last by-election Labour not only stood (increasing Reform's chances) but launched a hideous smear campaign on the Greens? Maybe Labour should actually offer something.
