@mikecosgrove Another point is lots of these fields have issues of liability that the govt regulator won't want to outsource to AI. So lots of, say, finance people, will use AI heavily but still be required to sign off regulatory info/documentation etc

@mikecosgrove Don't underestimate the pace at which some very intelligent people with great in person skills may retrain as tradespeople... Tradesmen that at unreliable and terrible at comms (lots of them!) will be under threat soon

@jens_140081 I went to Berlin in 2015 and it wasn't too bad... Has it really changed that much in 10 years? What areas have been worst affected in the city?

@MarkGregory21 @worstall Aren't they usually non solicitation in the professional service world rather than non compete

@charliecolecc Oh look, another example of the public sector being completely unable to understand incentives

@Irish_On_Tour @DPWorldTour Can see why they're doing it, but DP members aside, don't really see who moves the needle on a worldwide basis other than Bryson, Niemann and DJ? Someone like Ortiz or An are good players by DP standards but do fans/sponsors care...?

@maxtempers I think he's just not that smart and doesn't realise

@NeilDotObrien @AnnabelDenham1 Hi Neil, if you had a £2m property that was IHT exempt, and £1m of stocks/pension assets, would you downsize to a £500k home even if no stamp duty? You would immediately be liable for 40% on the £1.5m and any tax planning would be contingent on living for 7 years post gift

@TheCartelDel HSBC have a massive cull of wealth managers/financial advisers every couple of years. AI is just a convenient excuse here

@flushingitgolf Hatton pretty much gone too, then. And some of the younger guns, like Puig, Ballester and McKibbin are all heavily influenced by him as well

@HugoGye Going to be great being unable to get a builder in for 2 years because they are all busy putting a ninth extension on Roger and Margaret's 'family home'

@CWeatherspoon_ All the best players would move abroad including the entire English national team. Quality of English football would likely drop drastically as money moves away from top teams' academies

@andrewhesselden What if all the recently naturalised formerly illegal immigrants in Spain decide they wish to try living in the UK for a year?

[Next Hit @Puttoptions]

@kunley_drukpa Also, obvious point, but I don't think Stanley is praising yookay whilst living in Tottenham, Bradford West or Blackburn. He's presumably doing so from a predominantly white leafy London suburb. So it's just a case of 'i don't mind this thing that doesn't affect me too much'

@campbellclaret Why does that logic not apply to labour?

@leftsidehist He paid tax on his UK income as a nondom. Would you rather have some tax on his UK income, or no tax on any of his income?
