@exxonmobil Would you care to comment on this, @exxonmobil? A photocopy of the minutes of a 1980 meeting of oil execs on the projected effects of burning their oil, saying in 2067 we should expect "globally catastrophic effects". What are you doing about it?
Is it OK to put stainless steel razor blades into recycling, @ThreeRiversDC ? I was going to put it into a steel can but they might not like that kind of thing, so I just wanted to check first.
It is difficult to see how this text will help to achieve the deep and rapid cut in emissions we need by 2030 to keep 1.5c alive
With so many countries backing clear language on fossil-fuel-phase-out, who does this text actually serve?

@CrimeLdn To add to other comments, the man being attacked didn't know how to handle dogs either: hold it by the collar, not the lead, and if it gets nasty, lift the front paws off the ground and twist the collar. If you're not stron enough to do that, tie the dog to a pillar.
It’s all going a bit Wagatha Rishi isn’t it? Except this isn’t a libel case, there are over 200,000 people dead and the politicians responsible are telling barefaced lies to the inquiry.
Everybody knows how WhatsApp works.
Fucking criminals.
🚀Only a small push is needed to catalyze previously impossible climate action, and an unimaginable transformation of our civilization.
💡Implementing eight key technologies across three global sectors could halt disastrous climate in-action and catapult us into a new reality.
Earlier this year we modelled and proved how even Berlin could achieve net zero by 2030. In the infographic attached we describe how embracing new, transformational cross-sector technology disruptions over short term, band-aid approaches will increase resilience, resource security and self-sufficiency for tackling the climate crisis and beyond...
In the last few days of the COP28 Climate Summit, decision-makers would be wise to heed this advice, and create the conditions for this global transformation to happen.

This graph screams "tipping point" to me. I don't know what it was but I think it has happened. It will be interesting to compare next year's line with this one. Looking at this, do you think it will EVER go back to 0.8?
How can you just sit here and smile? How can you go about your day with your brunches and birthday parties and bridal showers?
Whole countries could disappear. Billions could die from flood and fire and famine.
We have reached the precipice. Don’t you see?
@leo_cadle @DrPhiltill Suppose hexagonal pyramid shapes, the angle would only need to be a few degrees to bounce the sound wave upwards and clear of the legs. But yes, Elon said it would melt 1" depth of steel every second, so may not last very long. ☹️
