First off … QB is the least coached position on any football team

And a lot of the coaching is just plain detrimental to solid QB play

Too many QBs and “coaches” trying to emulate Mahomes or the flavor of the month mechanics instead of the mechanics that work

Some of the stuff I see 2026 QBs doing is brutal … could talk all day about “taught” technique that kneecaps QB performance

Great clip here. This was on ABC on a Saturday afternoon. The intro features Detroit locals being asked about Thomas Hearns. Everyone knew him. Try doing that now. Most people in any city couldn’t name one current boxer beyond Jake Paul. PPV and paywalls have punished the sport like Hearns did Andries.
