@K3N3_X@lucaskagiso@RexChibuzo_ You comments don't suggest you think that of Nwabali. Nwa might be flawed, but implying Okoye's time is seemingly more valuable and he's a better choice simply because he happens to play in Europ is where you get it wrong.

On this day in history in 2018, 28-year-old Richard Russell — remembered as "Sky King" — borrowed an airplane from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport for a joyride before crashing into a remote island.
Russell had worked as a ground crew member, partly so he could visit his family in Alaska more often. Though he had no formal flight training other than playing video games, he developed a deep fascination with aviation. On the evening of August 10th, he gained access to an aircraft and took off smoothly, only drawing attention once fellow employees realized something was wrong.
During his flight, Russell flew over Mount Rainier and the Olympic Mountains, did a barrel roll, and even requested GPS coordinates for a recently sighted orca and calf.
Air traffic controllers, two F-15 fighter jets, and a civilian pilot tried to persuade him to land, but their efforts were unsuccessful. When the plane eventually ran out of fuel, Russell guided it into Ketron Island. His death was ruled a suicide, possibly linked to past brain injuries from multiple concussions.
His family remembered him as “a faithful husband, a loving man, and a good friend… He was right in saying that there are so many people who loved him.” Rest in peace, Sky King.
A man can be emotionally shattered, mentally exhausted, financially ruined, and spiritually drained, but if he’s still showing up, no one notices. Society doesn’t check his mental health, only his performance. Utility over humanity. Every time
Because society doesn’t love men, it loves what men provide.
You’re not valued for your smile, your feelings, or your peace.
You’re valued for your output, your strength, your ability to keep the machine running while you’re falling apart inside.
They don’t check your soul, they check your stats. They don’t ask if you’re okay, they ask if the job’s done.
And when you break?
They replace you before your seat gets cold.
Who keeps it this way?
The same world that preaches empathy, but only when it’s convenient. The same people who expect men to be the shield, the wallet, the backbone and never the ones who need holding.
That’s why a man’s mental health crisis is invisible: because acknowledging it would mean admitting the truth that this society runs on the quiet suffering of men.
dopamine downregulation affects appetite. we are exposed to so much dopamine releasing activity, such that food can no longer compare.
dopamine is the chemical of craving. the less sensitive you are to it, the less cravings you have. that’s why ADHD ppl have addiction issues.
