A 2 day robotics and hardware hackathon hosted by @QualiaRobotics, @huggingface@LeRobotHF, and @Atech_dev
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗳: build a working miniature factory powered by SO-101 robot arms, foundation model policies, and no-code hardware. By Sunday evening, the factory has to run.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗸: ↳ SO-101 manipulators (provided on-site) ↳ Qualia Robot foundation model training ↳ HuggingFace LeRobot datasets and pretrained policies ↳ Atech hardware kit + no-code builder
𝗢𝗻-𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲: engineers from all three teams, building and shipping alongside every team for the full 2 days.
Open to ML engineers, roboticists, and hardware hackers. No prior robotics experience required.
Prize: SO-101 kit for the winning team and more. Application only, spots limited.

Over 100 really strong applications all over the world in less than 24 hours for a 'niche' role like a robotics research engineer just goes to show how excited people are for this field of work, and how few opportunities exist to work on it...
Foundation models for robots are coming fast.
Qualia is the bridge. We bring foundation models into real factories.
We're hiring a Research Engineer to join our Policy team. VLAs, RL, world models. Real robots, real impact.

We're building the UI @LeRobotHF should have shipped with
Plug in your SO101 or XLeRobot, scan your ports and cameras, auto-calibrate, and you're teleoperated in under 5 minutes. No terminal.
It's time to build robots!
With @GoogleDeepMind, @ycombinator, @NASA, and @innate_bot who have pulled a lot of this together, (and more), we are partnering with one of the best general-purpose robotics hackathons this year on April 11-12 in SF.
Each team will have a robot that can move, manipulate, talk and is fully open-source, and 2 days to make the best application.
Prizes include cash, robots, yc interviews, and more.
Come build great things and do it with amazing products - including the Qualia Beta of course ♥️
Qualia will be at @iclr_conf this spring!
This year, the International Conference on Learning Representations has more robotic foundation model research submitted than ever in the conference's history - the field is evolving very rapidly and we are more excited than ever.
We'll be there connecting with researchers, engineers, and anyone building at the intersection of learning and robotics.

Catch us in Shenzhen, China this weekend 🇨🇳
25 robots. Hundreds of engineers. Collaborating across the 4 pillars of physical intelligence - Hardware, Software, Deployment data & Models.
We're partnering with Makermods @QualiaRobotics, @AMD, @huggingface , and @LeRobotHF for the Embodied AI x OpenClaw Hackathon.
If you're building full-stack robotics, this is your room. 🔩
Qualia is coming to Shenzhen China 🇨🇳
We are partnering with MakerMods, AMD, and others for a robotics hackathon in one of the global hearts of physical AI.
This weekend hundreds of engineers will be building projects on hardware, software, and models built for a new type of agent.
We look forward to sharing more in the coming days 🤖
Two of our co-founders Oscar R. and @Fabian13Kerj will be at the #nvidiaGTC this week!
If you’re around - or just curious to learn more about what we are building at Qualia, we are happy to come demo it for you in person 🤖
Robotics hardware companies are building on the Qualia API for their customers.
They package the training flow however they want - we help handle the model infrastructure - they focus on their user experience.
Some will even ship Qualia as a software layer that comes with every robot.
One thing is clear: more foundation model native robots are coming
We are hosting an agent meetup in Copenhagen https://t.co/i0q5r36hJh
Builders sharing how they actually use AI agents at work. No pitches, no product demos. Just real setups and honest takes. Qualia office in Copenhagen. Drinks. Pizza. Good people. Yes there are robots here too. In person only. Sign up via the link
Your next robotics engineer might be an agent.
We just opened our API so AI agents can build full training pipelines on Qualia - from dataset curation to reward modeling to deployment. No GUI clicking. No manual config. Just describe what you want your robot to learn and iterate.
Imagine: an agent that watches your robot fail, diagnoses the reward function, rewrites it, and retrains overnight. By morning, a better policy is waiting. Then it does it again. And again. Loop after loop - while you sleep, while you chase new applications, while you design the next experiment.
This works today with platforms like Openclaw/Claude/Devin/Codex/OpenCode + Qualia.
Internally, we built Qualia as a skill for our own agent, it launches jobs, tunes parameters, and iterates on pipelines from our Discord.
We're opening API access to early builders. If you want to make robotics a skill for your agent → DM us.
This is the start of a new generation of robot learning.
