Realty insensitive of Peter to bring his mum into this whole drama and in a negative way. Let’s not even be hypocritical here, there is no mum that will hear that her son is married or wants to marry someone allegedly 10 years older than her son-that will be happy it’s not about the tribe. No woman will be comfortable with that arrangement for her son. At that point, Lola’s genuineness doesn’t matter at first. The arrangement will be frowned at until proven. Let’s not be unnecessarily emotional and start nonsense-tribal card.
I’ve learned something from personal experience: a well-calculated lie can sound more believable than the truth.
I’ve had situations in the past where someone told a completely false story about me, but the way it was narrated was so convincing that anyone listening would naturally believe it. The hardest part was trying to prove that something I knew was a lie was actually a lie.
Since then, whenever someone tells me a story no matter how convincing or emotional it sounds, I always leave room for doubt until I hear the other side and see the evidence.
That’s also why, when Peter first told his side of the P-Square story, as painful and pathetic as it sounded, I still had reservations.
I kept asking myself: How can people be this mean to a brother without a trigger? What could possibly have happened behind the scenes that we don’t know about?
Because there’s always a danger in hearing only one side of a story.
So I didn’t rush to take sides. And honestly, I don’t think anyone should.
Now that more information, evidence and counterclaims are coming out from VDM. I think everybody needs to calm down.
At the end of the day, these are brothers.
We may never know everything that happened behind closed doors, but perhaps we’ve heard enough to realize that this whole thing is far more complicated than the stories we first heard.
And at this point, I honestly wish this issue will be resolved this time and let the brothers heal.
It’s Monday. Go out and hustle, so you don’t spend the week calling innocent people wicked because they couldn’t help you.
Nobody owes you a comfortable life. Do your best to create one for yourself.
May this week bring us opportunities, not excuses. 🙏🏽
I’ve realized something.
People don’t always remember who helped them.
But they almost always remember the one time you couldn’t.
Human beings have a strange relationship with gratitude.
Do you agree?
His point was understood. However, the mom already made peace with Lola, that part where he said “we the Okeye’s family want to you to leave our son” (not sure I quoted right). People ran with it, the comment and insults was just disrespectful to the de3th and they’re already calling the woman names. That is why I said he should have focused on those guys he was dealing with from his past episodes. That’s my point.
Exactly my point. Considering the fact that people are beginning to twist the narrative, Peter shouldn’t have brought the mother into this. They have turn it to tribal thing and no one is talking about age difference. No hate to Peter, he should have omitted that part to save his late mom all the name calling.
What broke me the most wasn’t even the family feud. I don’t want to take sides as the story is still one sided.
It was hearing that Peter and Paul had agreed to name their first sons after each other, but only Peter kept that promise.
Then hearing that Jude allegedly called Peter’s son a basta&d and encouraged him to be aborted was even more heartbreaking. Looking at Cameron today, it’s painful to imagine if that had happened.
Siblings fight and say hurtful things, but some words leave scars that can last a lifetime. I just hope Cameron grows up with enough peace to forgive.
❝This is where I feel pity for Paul. Jude, you know you use Paul as a decoy... Jude threatened Lola. Jude insulted Lola in front of me. It was actually Governor Imoke that invited us for peace talk...❞ - Peter Okoye continues to call out his brothers, Jude and Rudeboy.
He doesn’t owe anyone that SPECIFIC truth. Since Lola and the mom already got along. My issue is the fact that the late w0man is being insulted by netizens. He has been making his points all along and most people seems to understand his pains. Bringing his late mother was unnecessary.
There was no point bringing the mother into this, knowing fully well that people will put things out of context and start dragging his late mother. I have read comments already where commenters have called her unprintable names including calling her tribalistic w0man, 3vil and all sorts. Peter could have made his point just as he has been doing in other episodes. It’s alot already for their late parents with all that is going on. The de3th w0man does not deserve all those insu!ts.
@rudeboypsquare The extent Peter is going for public sympathy is sickening! I am more concerned about why he has to set his late mom up for a drag. Public sympathy or social validation? Kai at first, everything was going well up until now. I don’t know Peter’s end goal but we wish him well
That’s why she gave her consent at last. The mother must have heard things from other siblings. Which must have contributed to her first action. What informed my comment was the fact that people are already insulting their mother and arguing that she is tribalistic and ev!l from Peter’s post. But looking at it objectively, her first action is not out of context however, the end was good.
