18th at Lille with Dachsbun!!🐶🥖
Happy I got a result with this team and with my favourite mon. 😃
Huge shotout to @sircloudvgc for spending so many hours cooking the team with me. I'm pretty sure we optimized sets as much as we could and I'm very satisfied with the result.
Y'know it's a real shame Dachsbun didn't make it into the M-A roster, feel like it'd have a niche into the top meta trends of this format that I would've had a lot of fun with ☺️
I think people forget that not everyone has access to Floette and even then it had a ridiculous usage conversion rate of 16,2% in D1 -> 23,63% D2 -> 30% Top Cut
+ it had one of the best winrates (53,60%) when discounting outliers with less than 10 Pokémon
@DeivVGC@JacobSkraw@TeamAqua_offic@JoyBoyVgc If Fazio has a million fans, then I am one of them. If Fazio has ten fans, then I am one of them. If Fazio has only one fan then that is me. If Fazio has no fans, then that means I am no longer on earth. If the world is against Fazio, then I am against the world.
@Pokecollect3 Did no one ever discussed about this before? It's crazy that in almost seven years of competing I've never heard of such an insane rule. Is it just because this is the first time it has been broken?
I have now been banned from the Pokémon Professors Discord.
They deleted all of my messages regarding the incident. Will update everyone when I get my disciplinary email from Play!Pokemon.
@Firestar73_ you deserved to win. They can’t silence me on that.
@Cocainacurativa If there is one thing this topcut, and every player result at this tournament (including me), proves is exactly the fact that you can be AS competitive AS the others even without floette. OFC it sucks to not have that option when teambuilding, but p2w it's something else.
Pokemon champions is not pay to win. Not in the slightest. This being said, Floette was 100% THE top meta threat that shaped this cut, as it can by looking at the full VR data, we can see just here 5 zards, a Scizor and a bunch of steel and poison types in each team.
As expected, the first major Champions tournament of the format, with over 1,000 players, ended with a top cut completely dominated by Mega Floette. That is not okay at all. Champions is not supposed to be a pay-to-win game! #paytonwin 🥱
@Cocainacurativa You don't get a direct advantage by playing floette, it's one of the strongest archetypes in the meta but there are also others viable, for sure it's not 2016/19 xerneas level of op
@TheBlackQuill59 It's not semantics, those are two different things. One thing is saying a strategic competitive game that makes you pay for specific characters is unserious and it's clearly not trying to become more serious, another thing is saying you can't win without paying.
@MOGAAAAARRRR Canceled the same tweet a sec ago cause i accidentaly put the wrong tour screen
Can you not straight up lie?
This is from the biggest tournament on champions day 1 with 530 players as you can check here https://t.co/0GT8qUmWoR
@OztheDrolf against floette, for example mega kangaskhan as well has always been historically a top tier mega, but here you don't see a single mega kanga in top.
@OztheDrolf You are not wrong! Chard Y has historically been a top tier mon in non ubers format! Thing is I never said that floette made playable pokemon previously unplayable, I'm saying that among the playable pokemon the ones who did well at this tournament are the ones who do well
@GAZ__95 Obviously this is one of the trades you have to make in order to have a broken mon like floette, I want you to look at the fact tho that there are 2 teams in this cut that do not have any kind of weather (the scizor one and the meganium one) does this make them unviable for you?
