It’s metastatic bone cancer that spread from the prostate. They caught the bone issue quite early and with radiation and hormone therapy it’s under control, but he will live with cancer for the rest of his life. Listen man- I understand if you don’t like my Dad’s politics and you hate me because you believe everything Fox News has told you. I’m fine with that, but my Dad has cancer. How is that an issue you want to attack. What sickness is in you that makes that fair game Patrick.
@sleepy_devo I don’t see any proof that illegal/fraudulent voting is occurring on a scale worth further obstructing my rights as an American Citizen to participate in our democracy. Why just let them fuck with our rights? I’d say that they, at minimum, have more legwork to do to justify it.
@PatODonohueMKT@RepJeffries A perfect opportunity, then, for the current majority to prove him wrong before the American People - to promote unity and condemn inflammatory/violent rhetoric coming from their own Party’s incumbency.
Easy for any mature and measured body.
@TheOmniLiberal If what Israel is doing is a Genocide, that would make them arguably our closest genocide committing ally. That would create, if not a unique sense of responsibility, a heightened gravity around that specific humanitarian crisis.
@Cynical_History Conceding has nothing to do with whether or not one is an Authoritarian/wanna-be-Authoritarian.
If an Authoritarian’s capital were under siege by its uprising people, would an Authoritarian cease being one if they surrendered to the revolt?
@supersmashio@smalls2672 “Better Late Than Never” doesn’t change the fact that Tucker was a contributing factor to Trump being elected, as were those who chose not to vote for Harris.
If your prediction software can’t foresee the tidal wave until it is a foot from your door - then you’re a bad pundit.
@ContraPoints The entire Trump Campaign was a message to its base to ignore everybody else, that we need to focus on US - America First.
So nobody looked until we forced upon Iran the chance to look like a Stoic Survivor.
That is entirely on this Admin.
@SagacityForAll @dccommonsense If we’re fortunate, ineptitude. Prioritizing loyalty often nets you enthusiasm but not necessarily merit.
If they want to wrestle the midterms - maybe they’ll underestimate the electorate or overestimate their taken measures.
I’ll call the above the whimsical side of hope.
@dccommonsense I agree. It all seems to be OK so long as those in power are agreeable.
And there’s a part of me that wants to see the deterrence of accountability be crusaded here - another part dreads what someone like Trump would do this time around if he felt boxed in. Like the ol’ Rubicon.
@dccommonsense I think this is more an issue of the American people/the Electorate.
Congress wants to maintain their position, and Republicans don’t want to come out against Trump and lose votes.
If it becomes evident that Trump loses the electorate/power - Congress will abandon him.
