Cambodia remains fully committed to peace and strictly upholds the ceasefire agreement. Yet, today's incidents in Banteay Meanchey province, where Cambodian villagers, monks, etc, were injured by slingshots and tear gas, show repeated violations that undermine the ceasefire agreement. The latest update that the video already edited, there have been over 20 people injured.
Our sovereignty and territorial integrity must be respected. We call on the international community to stand with Cambodia in ensuring peace, justice, and the protection of our people.
