@SE25CPFC12 I’d put it that the connection we have with the FA Cup is greater as we grew up with it being a big deal plus we’d always been knocked out of it at some stage over the years. I felt the same emotions during the build up & at full time in Leipzig, but they were less intense.
@rapids96podcast I have almost zero sympathy for the Rapids attendance / relevance struggles these days. Ownership has the land, cash, opportunity & potential support to put the team in a downtown location, yet the idea does not even appear to have been considered.
You have to wonder how on earth a couple of trains which are already owned, operated by staff that are already employed on tracks that are already built is adding up to $62M? What else has been baked into the costs? https://t.co/IvuMbeKUgy
@CFCCath@lindsaymo1978@AdamCrafton_@TheAthleticFC Last summer, Switzerland offered free train & local travel on the day of the game & until 5am the following morning for all Women’s Euros ticket holders. Saved ‘00s.
Tonight, after 43 years of service, the #Class455 EMU’s (‘red trains’) finally bowed after a 3 month stay of execution for 6 units. Unfortunately work commitments meant I couldn’t be there but I did manage to secure a piece of one of the units to remember them by.
@pthread_mutex_t@HippchenK@bscholl@denversmayor Only the Heathrow Express. The Elizabeth Line & Piccadilly Line charge fares that are generally in line with other destinations on the network, taking into account distance travelled.
