@CdnElectWatch The interest on the 13.8B deficit being the 3rd largest line item on the budget doesn’t strain your proverbial camel’s back? Think of all the public services those dollars could be going toward.
@KentagiousDance@AndrewNJohns No, in regards to your point, assuming it’s around the short term rental as the other two weren’t the case, the government changing the rules all of the sudden created the mess.
@sairahul1 Looks like you need the business account about $400 annually to link your Adsense account to your website using Wordpress, or am I doing something wrong?
@bruce_arthur The reporter set the stage. He asked every question. Why blame Pierre for asking for clarification? What was he supposed to do in your mind?
Here are 3 large examples of the lack of co-ordination in Canadian government.
(1) OSFI, Canada's bank regulator, is frustrated that banks have fixed payment variable rate mortgages and wants to punish banks for holding them by increasing tier 1 capital ratio requirements...
So BC and Alberta want to earn international carbon credits for shipping LNG to Asia, where it would be used instead of dirtier coal.
This is EXACTLY what BCLib gov under @christyclarkbc proposed during its LNG plan, and the NDP + Greens mocked the idea then as ridiculous.
@MarketManiaCa What’s your take on the ~ 65/35 ratio of RE with mortgages? Do you have any good elaborative data on it? I keep hearing this stat but no context ie: is this just residential? Breakdown of LTV on the 65% with a mortgage? How many of those need to default for it to be catastrophic?
