Excited to finally see the top 10 #OccupationalTherapy research priorities. New research projects needed to focus on these. Which one will you choose? Thanks @theRCOT@LindAlliance & all who participated in important priority setting exercise
Fantastic to have had your support @DrTWilliamson. Thanks for sharing information about the project with your networks, as well as @DemCarersCount's support in raising carers and families' awareness that we were keen to hear from them. #OTresearchpriorities
@teohjouyin @JoWatson22 A very top line summary is available on the project's website https://t.co/NXp7Tf4HEJ. With more detailed information due for inclusion in the published reports. #otalk
@KellyFielden @JoWatson22 @theRCOT Yes, the data that sits behind each of the priorities will be available on the @LindAlliance website in due course. As well as all the questions that people felt were important outside of the top 10 too #otalk
A really important next step is to continue as @LindAlliance started, that is to take next steps in addressing research priorities with people using OT and their carers. I'm hoping specialist sections can support this. #OTalk
@JoWatson22 It is promising to me that the research priorities seek to explore all available facilitating tools available to a service user to not only access the recovery, rehabilitation, future-proofing of their care pathway, but to orientate them as a key driver to their own intervention
@JoWatson22 @theRCOT Q2) In line with the top 10, the @VdTMoCAFUK recognises that research builds the evidence base underpinning the #OccupationalTherapy profession & improves the experiences & outcomes for people accessing our services. #OTalk
@anyadei @DrWMB @Cilla_Harries@Pers_Care Language in the priorities and throughout the course of the project was carefully considered and influenced by the mix of people involved. #otalk
@GeekyOT @JoWatson22 Behind each priority are qu's that people submitted from their own specific experience and their interest in particular areas of practice in occupational therapy. In due course the data that sits behind each of the priorities will be available on the @LindAlliance website #otalk
Last week @TheRCOT launched the outcome of a detailed project which identified the top 10 research priorities for the profession. Tonight is your opportunity to discuss your first thoughts on this list with @JoWatson22 #OTalk
