People escaping violence & dealing with trauma should not be expected to function as if everything is fine, & they shouldn't be treated like criminals for needing safe shelter and time to rest & recover. Sounds like the shelter doesn't want to pay staff to clean.

@jelenawoehr @tewchinzz It was the same for me escaping abuse, they said I refused help but their solution was to put me in a refuge where I couldn't have my son, my dogs, go to work, see my dad etc and it was a 45 min drive away but no men allowed so I wouldn't be able to get a lift anywhere
