Folks, allow me to brag about my wife, Jane. She is the head of a group of scientists working on a personalized mRNA vaccine for melanoma. It was announced that the results of her years-long study showed prevention of the cancer--a huge finding. From today's Wall Street Journal:
The mRNA vaccine success vs melanoma in a Phase definitive 3 randomized trial today is on top of signs of success for personalized mRNA neoantigen vaccines vs pancreatic cancer, triple negative breast cancer, and non-small cell lung cancer https://t.co/cv4iXW11mw

RE USS Abraham Lincoln Let me paint a picture of things that have each historically been considered “try to avoid” because they put so much stress on Sailors and/or their families: 🧵
Severe Covid leads to persistent viral reactivation, with >10 different viruses noted in the first 40 days after hospital admission.
Long Covid was specifically associated with reactivation of latent Anelloviridae virus

I worked for New York’s largest medical center at the start of the pandemic. There were morgue trucks on the streets. They set up emergency medical tents in Central Park. Healthcare worker colleagues died. It is horrific that RFK Jr is on national TV lying that ICUs were empty.

@TikaBgewd@GeauxGabrielle@tikaBgewd The appropriate response now is for you to admit your mistake and offer an apology. Go on now, just do it - you might learn something.
It doesn’t matter if the man killed by ICE in Maine was authorized to work in the United States or not. It doesn’t matter if he had a social security or not. ICE should not be killing anyone. Period.
IT'S 'HEAR, HEAR,' NOT 'HERE, HERE.'
IT'S 'SNEAK PEEK,' NOT 'SNEAK PEAK.'
IT'S 'EXACT REVENGE,' NOT 'EXTRACT REVENGE.'
IT'S 'BY AND LARGE,' NOT 'BY IN LARGE.'
THIS HAS BEEN A CAPSLOCK PSA.
Lord of life, today we ask for the grace to recognize and protect the unique and unrepeatable value of every human being. May we learn to welcome life unconditionally, to tenderly care for fragility, to accompany each stage with respect, and to bravely defend those who have no voice.
