Stakeholders invited to consult on Bill C-21, including a current Liberal Cabinet member, wanted amendments to ban online gun sales and thought gun owners illegally modified their magazines "all the time."
And it was the only consultation held.

Bill C-34 is worse than I expected. It would create a Digital Safety Commission with the power to force social media companies and AI chat services to censor the speech of adults.
I explain why I'm so concerned below.

@flinnk2010@CanadianPhoenX@Tablesalt13 A serious person would know a) how much potash the US imports and b) how long does it take to stand up a potash mine.
@CanadianPhoenX@Tablesalt13 So how many industries have we bailed out currently? What percentage of our industry can we support with taxes before there isn’t tax revenue left?
@CanadianPhoenX@Tablesalt13 Maybe you should go watch the witnesses who testified. They say they can't wait it out until November and when they close, the industry goes somewhere else and doesn't come back.
@B3man1 @JJ_McCullough It’s good to learn from history. I think most of us wish PM Carney would take lessons from General Brock. Right now, the PM seems to favour General Prevost way more.
@JosephHBorn@Val_Italo@ChrisMartzWX Drag = 1/2 * air density * velocity squared * wing area * coefficient of drag so yes, drag increases as the square of airspeed.
@Aaronpete_@BCGreens@Emily_Lowan Or a 'one time' tax of 10%. How does that help the system in a meaningful way. I may be reading in between the lines, but she also didn't answer you when you stated that lowering the tax burden would also get people to a living wage.
@Aaronpete_@BCGreens@Emily_Lowan I appreciated her enthusiasm; She never did explain what 'fair share' meant to her, even when you asked. Have the multimillionaires in BC used more of govt resources than the average person to get to where they are? Other than 'more', what does fair mean?
@bhave73 @politicalham Tangent - you've struck a nerve with me. I don't know your experience but I'd suggest you're comparing apples to oranges with your statement? All service involves some sacrifice and has meaning. These 2 branches have very different roles. One isn't better than the other.
@JamesDeroest@Mikeggibbs No, I don't think he can. 14 CFR Part 21, 21.21 states that an applicant is entitled to a type certificate if they meet the listed requirements. Since they already have it, someone would have to show why they didn't and the decision could be appealed in court.
