@Harryjwilliamss@theSpurtle Think this is to ensure that any work scheduled falls within the window. The total period has to include the many days when the work site is barriered off but there's no workmen to be seen.....can't believe a simple kerb realignment / pavement extension would take 100 days.
@DrRAGreen@James_f_kenyon @donturvLDR Not an expert on the 'keyword' search on the Planning portal but all properties granted planning permission (I thought) should either have an identifier of 'FULSTL' or 'CLESTL' ?
Does the 'short term let' or 'short-term let' pick up all of these ?
Excellent work / thread BTW
@goldwyreS@SaveSCScotland @donturvLDR @scotgov@Edinburgh_CC Fully agree - it's really a shambles especially given the (supposedly 'cost neutral') fees being charged for licences. The state of the STL Licensing register has to be seen to be believed.
@parkemmapark@Holledge@PhilipDoggart Seems the 'rules' being suspended due to Covid was misinformation.
It was stated by a Council official that the Council's 'no dogs in cemeteries' rule expired in 2014 (10 years after the original decision) per the Civic Government (Scotland) Act 1982.
@theSpurtle@Del_ivered Not sure this will be the end of the matter.
Having looked again at the various 'Approval of Matters as specified in Conditions' for the original 08/03361/OUT application, despite statements from Council officials, not clear-cut & they will be further legal challenges....
@Holledge@Edinburgh_CC As well as the archived webcast (c/w the ability to fast forward which is often welcome) - maybe they should consider an edited highlights version ?
@EllaTasm@theSpurtle Agree the former bowling greens are an under-used community asset & have been fenced off for far too long. (the foxes are OK with it though).
Think the issue is the Council's (un-founded ?) concerns with land contamination hence the proposal to cover with 40 - 50cm of soil.
