Ntoroko Bee Keepers is a thriving group formed composed of 7 passionate youth formed 2018 with support from RIDE-AFRICA under the Youth in Action program. They harvest over 2000 kgs of honey, 30 kgs of propolis and 90 kgs of bee wax on an annual basis and mentorship to others.
Paid curtesy visit to the Uganda Human Rights commission Fort Portal Regional Office and had a fruitful discussion with the team on laying strategies for advocating for policy changes, strengthening collaborations on investigations into human rights violations

Through our Child Rights Programme, we set up and run Child Rights Clubs in communities and schools where children are at an increased risk of neglect and abuse.
The clubs provide children with a safe space to learn about their rights, and access the protection that they need.
This week, @coact1325 in partnership with @CAREUganda are supporting #Gulu and #Arua cities to review and validate their LAPs.

COVID 19 has greatly affected girl child education than boys,during the meeting with community children rights club members at Itoojo,members witnessed that 7 girls were impregnated and 5 girls got married. this will affect the turn up rate of girls when the schools reopen.
We thank CRVP for the support and funding towards our stakeholders meeting held on 30th march 202,The meeting was intended to involve district stakeholders, partner NGOs and CBOs to share experiences in child protection and develop joint plan for child protection intervention.
Coming from a poor family is not the end of life, Meet Amos Sumbuso from Rwebisengo aged 18, Amos had no chances to complete his studies because his parents could not afford the school fees for him to keep in school. His life changed since he joined Rwebisengo youth VSLA group.

RIDE-AFRICA strengthened the capacity of 37 households to manage and expand their Income generating activity (IGA) and pass on the skills to orphans in other household. with support from CDO, LC1, LC111 and mentors attached to these households to offer parental care to these OVC.
RIDE-AFRICA in Partnership with CoAct1325 on capacity building for women led CBOs and local leaders to prevent and respond to GBV and peace building.
