Sealing Memories for the Future: Aqua Line Time Capsule 🚇

#MMRC sealed the Aqua Line Time Capsule at the hands of Ms. Ashwini Bhide, Managing Director, MMRC, and Municipal Commissioner, BMC in the presence of Mr. R. Ramana, Director (Planning); Mr. Rajeev, Director (Systems); Mr. Yogendra Saxena, Director (Finance); senior officials and employees.

A first-of-its-kind initiative by a metro, in India, the Time Capsule preserves photographs, records, milestones and memorabilia from Aqua Line’s journey in 2026. Sealed for 10 years, it will be opened on 8 October 2036, marking the 10th anniversary of full-route operations.

मुंबई महानगरपालिका आयुक्त श्रीमती अश्विनी भिडे यांच्या हस्ते आज ॲक्वा लाईन च्या टाइम कॅप्सूलला कुलूपबंद करण्यात आले. यावेळी संचालक (नियोजन) श्री. आर. रमणा, संचालक (प्रणाली) श्री. राजीव, संचालक (वित्त) श्री. योगेंद्र सक्सेना तसेच वरिष्ठ अधिकारी आणि कर्मचारी यांच्या उपस्थितीत होते.

भारतातील मेट्रो क्षेत्रातील अशा स्वरूपाच्या पहिल्या उपक्रमांपैकी एक असलेले हे टाइम कॅप्सूल १० वर्षांसाठी कुलूपबंद करण्यात आले असून, ते ८ ऑक्टोबर २०३६ रोजी उघडण्यात येईल. ॲक्वा लाईनच्या प्रवासातील छायाचित्रे, नोंदी, महत्त्वाचे टप्पे आणि आठवणी यात जतन करण्यात आल्या आहेत.

#Metro3 achieves yet another significant milestone. Train movement was successfully carried out today between #MIDC to #Vidyanagari metro station. The train will travel back to SEEPZ covering a total distance of around 17 km during the run.
