2. India’s ethanol push is increasing demand for maize: about 37% of maize production is now going to ethanol distilleries and since maize accounts for roughly 65–70% of poultry production costs, boom.

3. Poultry consumes about 60% of India’s maize supply, while ethanol demand is expanding rapidly. Unless maize production rises sharply, roz khao ande for many would be tough.

Went to social audit two MCD schools and one Govt school in Delhi.

In the video here, you see a big garbage spot outside a school—that’s a Delhi govt school. I would urge the Delhi Education Minister @ashishsood_bjp to fix that school’s infrastructure immediately and clean up that area.

The school with the Mid-Day meal—that’s a MCD school. I urge the MCD Mayor @praveshwahi to fix that school too.

Both these schools are at Bhati Mines, Chhatarpur village. Several issues like tin roof, no functional or clean toilets, terrible mid day meal, non-functioning classrooms or computers were found.

The third MCD school is at Kotlamubarak. That school too has a tin roof because of which nursery to 5th class students fall sick in summers.

Ashish Sood ji and Parvesh Wahi ji. Please focus on the schools. If not, we, along with the villagers will return by 15 September.🇮🇳🪳
