I've posted a couple of dozen technical threads in the last two years that have been popular. Here they are in a thread of threads, very roughly organized into related themes.
Let's start w/ little-known classic: mean & median within a standard deviation

This study is wild - putting the experimenters' arm in casts for two weeks to measure the brain effect of limb disuse. Now that's commitment to science!
Univ of Calgary Human Performance Lab seminar is TODAY! Join us today @ 3pm MT on Zoom (all welcome). Andy Pohl will be presenting on "Applying Bayesian inference to common problems in Biomechanics" 📈💻📊

What does NMA represent to us? Science, education, but most importantly kindness, empathy, and unity. Neuromatch was born at the beginning of one of the most unique crises in the world, aiming to make the academic world a better place. [1/3]
Hot off the official press - OpenSense, an open-source workflow to estimate joint kinematics from #IMU data, shown to be consistent with optical-based kinematics during 10-minute trials of common activities. #OpenSense#OpenSim@MazenAlBorno@johanping https://t.co/dN3omw49li

Really interesting read about how @MSBiomechanics are using #EMG in motorsport 🏍️🏎️🏁 to optimize performance
@DrNadiaChaudhri passed away yesterday evening, having reached the end of her road with ovarian cancer. She leaves behind her Sun and Moon, a loving extended family, colleagues and students, friends around the world, and so many others who have been touched by her & her story 1/n
@KordingLab Maybe what is happening is our brain is trying and failing to model whatever scenario it is trying to solve for; or increase the probability of. Then through looping, it is signaling the need for more PFC involvement and information gathering or coactivang useful networks.
Are you the type of person that imagines a world where there is minimal conflict and EMG biofeedback is widely used for gait rehabilitation?

Biomechanics and neuroimaging papers incoming soon!
@GunnarBlohm If I had to hazard a guess, maybe it's because you can't predict it well! Maybe if you touch in once every day you'll become better in modeling and predicting it?
7/7 Finally I want to thank @ElhamBk , thank you for all your help and support in the past 4 years, Kim, Austin,Jose and everyone in DMC lab, thank you so much! I really enjoyed working with you, you are all brilliant and amazing and I cannot wait to see your accomplishments!
6/n and you mentioned that you just need to sit down and really focus, at some point you might think something stinks, and you will realize the smell is coming from you, it is funny but also true! Thank you for that advice it really did help me!
